I was hopeful last year, all that optimism is gone
lol I know your lying there is no way that Adel will score 20 goals against us this year, if they could only kick bout 9 against the dawks.

Players to be wary of:

Ricciuto and Burton. Burton runs rampant at the Telstra Dome.

When we slow the pace down at the Dome (ala Woey style...we lose), and for some reason, it seems to be against the interstate teams (especially Sydney and Fremantle).

Also, Adleaide have an EXCELLENT record at TD in recent times.

This wioll be a tough game, especially if Clarke dominates the centre hit outs. If they win it out of the centre too much ... GAME OVER.

This is the main problem - I think our backs and forwards can match it up to them, but the issue is in the middle. Hate to see them carry it out of there with ease....so if we can win in there, we'll be fine. Sounds simple enough hey? :)

Agreed. Clearances are key.

They always used to name the squads Thursday afternoons, And The Footy Show will announce them on Thursday night.

The game itself should be a cracker. Both teams are vying for spots in the finals, So we will see a lot of passion out their on and even off the field. Every Collingwood supporter who lives in Melbourne should go, Because if you don't, You will miss watching football at its highest order.

My Team,

FB: Tarkyn Lockyer ~ Simon Prestigiacomo ~ Nick Maxwell
HB: Ben Johnson ~ Shane Wakelin ~ James Clement
C: Jason Cloke ~ Nathan Buckley ~ Shane O'Bree
HF: Chris Tarrant ~ Travis Cloke ~ Alan Didak
FF: Leon Davies ~ Anthony Rocca ~ Blake Caracella
R: Josh Fraser ~ Paul Licuria ~ Scott Burns
I: Dale Thomas ~ Cameron Cloke ~ Brodie Holland ~ Dane Swan

EMG: Ben Davies ~ Ryan Lonie ~ Guy Richards

I think thats a very good team you've selected AFL record, although I dont think we will start with all of Bux, Burns and Licca is the centre they are just a bit too slow to all play together these days.

Brodie has earned the right to start on the ground and i think with some of the big boys back C2 might struggle to get into the first 22

Our full list is as good as any.

A loss to a slightly depleted Crows outfit, in Melbourne, is not really acceptable. Too many players would have to underperform for us to lose.

If Malthouse plays Morrison we will be at a disadvantage. I'd rather have Heath Shaw running off HB.

Cut your losses Mick and bring him back for his retirement game.

On pre season form Richards has shown he needs game time at Willy and Fanning has shown he is our 6th best ruck option leaving Cam as our backup ruck

Pies by 5 points. Crows are not playing half a team this year and with their one on one style of football it suits us and will struggle to match up on our forward line.
