Freo are like Geelong...they carry handbags. Subi should hold no fears for us...just hit em early, and hit em hard, and they'll buckle. Theres very few sides in the comp who can stand up to the kind of pressure we apply when we are on our game. Things like hitting targets from 60m, and all that sort of stuff are things we have to get right, but the pressure has to come first. Apply the pressure, and the rest will come.

I caught an interview at 6ish pm today with MM on SEN. He was asked
about this Sundays game in WA. He said that all available WA boy's will
be in, as they have very few opportunities to play infront of family and
friends. He also suggested that this will be a young team that hits the
paddock. He's thoughts on the previous game were simply we played
a team that has been a finalist for the last 2 years and we came from
behind to win. He was very pleased with the team spirit. Was asked
about C1 and advised all listening very fit, hundry and ready, claimed he
will be a huge improver this year. Good on you MM get behind the man.

Yeah I'm nervous about this game PieGal4eva,
We won the St Kilda game kicking only 9 goals in regulation time... and managing only 1 goal each during the second and third quarters (2 goals in a half of football).
Freo kicked 19 goals against West Coast (127 points).
I still think we can win the game but I would like to see our key three players who are returning from injury (Rocca, Tarrant, and Fraser) to return to form quicker e.g. marks sticking, taking advantage of shots at goal.
But if they need more time to return to form (which I expect they will) no matter... it is still the pre-season cup.
I will also be praying for no injuries

I am confident and nervous at the same time.
We obviously have a poor record at Subiaco. Last time we played Fremantle at Subiaco we lost by 100+ points. Not good.
But at the same time I am confident because we have Rocca, Tarrant and Fraser in the team. If they fire up who knows what we are capable of achieving over at the "house of pain".
Realistically, if we lose, I won't mind because it's a Practice match. But if we have a win, even better, because I love seeing the Pies win.

Scary stats Stoliboy, but I am hoping it was more the tempo of the game and if Rocca/Tarrant had kicked straight we should of beaten them by 6 goals..
Remember 2003, we were kicking impressive scores week after week when they were firing....
You are right that it is only NAB, as long as we dont get a hiding I will deal with it, I just dont want them to lose confidence...
It is going to be 38c Sunday so I hope they adjust ok..
