Jeremy Dukes' fine season for Williamstown was rewarded at the J.J. Liston Medal night with inclusion into the VFL's Team of the Year.
Dukesy was named in the forward pocket alongside Frosty Miller Medallist James Podsiadly, with Salam Hassan in the other pocket, both from Werribee.
Dukesy's inclusion in the team is testamony to his hard work ethic and strength of character. An injury interrupted preseason saw Dukes come back via the Williamstown reserves side. It was not until round 4 that Dukes regained his position in the senior side and he had an immediate impact. Playing mainly at Centre Half Forward or Full Forward, Dukesy had a stellar season topping Williamstown's goal kicking with 31.
Congratulations to Dukesy on an outstanding 2005 season.
