Saw our lads at Adelaide airport, ad they are all hurting as much, if not more than us. They are absolutely gutted!
Major cull to happen, with this type of year, we need to change a third of our playing group.
Fanning and Davies have shown a lot of promise, Heath Shaw and C1 were good today. Clement, Buckley,Maxwell, Holland, all fantastic in a very ordinary side. I think Wakes is carrying a Driver injury, with the treatment I saw him getting.
I heard they stopped the game to do a Collingwood head count, as we were playing like we had less than 18 on the field.
I don't have a solution, and I think the people who make those decisions haven't done their job in the last couple of years so we need a massive clean out.
(ps...our guys are absolutely GORGEOUS!! To talk to them and shake hands was a gift tonight. Many many thanks to a man with contacts. )

Uncompetitive
Today was pathetic. Not in the result so much, but the fact the team apart from a few doesn't put in and has no spirit. We are too often, completely uncompetitive and getting thrashed from the first few minutes of a game. Barring the injuries I blame the coach. The coach is paid by us, the members to make the team competitive. 24 to pick from or not, he has made us a demotivated, uncompetitive team. Listen:
'We are uncompetitive'
That is the lowest you can go (you can be 16th and competitive) and is simply not good enough for any professional sporting club. It is a very bad sign for 2006 and although I always hope for better days I wouldn't want to be in charge of our marketing for membership signings in 2006. People don't want to throw away money watching an uncompetitive team.

Fair point, - its more like Williamstown Vs Adelaide given our available cattle..Cam wrote:Relax. We are playing our reserves and the Crows are the real deal.
Interesting stats from AFL.com.au...
Coll : Kicks 209, H-Balls: 111, Marks:120, Tackles: 52, Hitouts: 29
Crows: Kicks 204, H-Balls: 167, Marks:90, Tackles: 35, Hitouts: 31
Not seeing the game I cant imagine how we could be game high in so many stats & yet be beaten like that.. so much for stats!
