IMO the coach and a few key players (eg. Woey, Davis, Obree, etc.) along with the sub-par youngsters should all be cleared out at the seasons end.

Not that these players/Mick are beyond redemption. But we are almost at the stage where we need a change for change's sake. More of a symbolic thing, Obree, Woey etc are all perfectly fair 2nd tier players, but by replacing them we are sending a signal that its a new Collingwood and this is something we desperately need to do.
Yes, I agree with that, O'Bree has been good in patches, but hasn't been anythomg special, since he came to the club. Woey has been below par at Collingwood. And Davis doesn't seem to be able to play good football every week, or even once in two weeks, it's always once in a very long while.

It's either time to trade them, or delist them.

Yep that was way beyond tanking. So we really are terrible!
Worst part was the commentators on the radio ridiculing the team and joking about them with utter contempt. Of course their humour was even worse than the team's footy playing.
Oh well lot of injuries, and Crows must be pretty ominous for the flag.

Hopefully dogs will kick Brisbane out of the 8 in a few hours, that would make my footy weekend.

James Clement is quality. Heartbreaking to hear his post-match interview.

Very sad day / year for our club.

I have never looked forward to a season ending so much in all my life!!

Hell we were scrubbers under Shaw - but we never got belted like we have this year and we at least loooked like we were trying!!

I agree with whoever said witches hats would have scored more - FFS boys we are a laughing stock! No amount of money, no fancy training facilities, no good bloke policy, no PP's, no amount of charity work - can make up for that fact!!!

I didn't think it was possible for us to get wore, but today proved that we can, surely we cannot get any worse then todays effort? Surely not.

If there was ever an argument about not having a 30 round year, today proved why.
With no way of making the finals, injuries everywhere and a side which has a had enough. It would be torture to have to watch them for another 9 weeks.Roll on 2006

Probably not over 100 points but the dogs will surely give us a fair belting, 60+ points..

I'm trying not to jump the gun but damn i can understand why ppl are calling for a massive clean out from the top... just ride this year out, and if its like this next year lets hope we can make some huge changes.. still have hope for finals next year though..

Expected a loss like that.

When getting pumped like that its interesting to see who has what it takes to play for Collingwood in the future, not too many can put there hand up.

All we need is for Carlton to win and then we go last.

Tanking or not, priority picks or not, finishing last is disgraceful

Future ahead of pride today, it was the teams best performance yet. We couldnt run the risk of Hawks dropping more % than us over the last 2 weeks, well done Collingwood

Dissapointing for the margin to be that big but come on ... completely expected we would get belted. With so many injuries, and nothing to play for, major losses are not unexpected.

Same old same old - midfield was terrible. The only blokes who earnt their pay today was Holland, Clement, Cloke, Shaw, Davies, Fanning and Richards.

Obree, Woey, Licca, Lockyer (who was ok today) must all be traded. These blokes are our engine room and it is time to step aside. I am not saying they are terrible players - just that they are not taking us forward. I mean we got something like 30 hitouts today and got killed in the clearance. We desperately need Bartel (you blokes who have been bagging Bartel should get fair dinkum - he is miles above our blokes and we need him to rebuild our midfield). For me our midfield must be built around Bartel, Holland, R.Shaw, Didak, Ben Johnson, Egan, Davies, Iaboucci. We must also get another quick midfielder in the PSD and recruit 2 exciting midfielders in the draft. Hopefully Ellis and Murphy. Pray Carlton do the right thing by us and beat Essendon tomorrow.

Why bring Lokan in - Ben Johnson must be livid. I suspect he is on his way.

Cara and Chad are bloody soft. I had no idea they would be this pathetic. Everything Walls wrote about Cara is true. He got no ticker.
