I'd say this Willy game is quite important for Johnson and Williams... they need to play well if they are to really get another senior game this season.

Hope Davdson plays well enough to warrant a senior game before year's end, could be playing for his spot on the list you'd think.

Willo is hopefully gone already.

Roids form post injury has been dreadful, may not be fully fit.

Booch and Rowe are part of the future I reckon and both are stiff not to be picked ahead of Lokan and Chad (who I think are part of out recent past).

Davo will get another year no matter what happens this year.
He needs game time & plenty of it, which in turn will hopefully give him his confidence back.

Went to the game today, Guy Richards seemed to pull up OK on and off the bench. Don't know what happened to Ben Johnson - prominent early but didn't see much of him after half time. Interesting that Williams was one of the best - did more in the latter half of the game when Willy started hammering the Roosters.
Davidson, Yakka, were in and out of the play - Yakka I think was playing of the half back line.
The better players on the day were probably the Williamstown listed players. Jarrad, Dukes, Pearce, Tallis, and Smoker (the best game of the season by "Chuffa"), the younger guys like Stretton, Picken, Barlow, and Lawry played their part. Like to mention Shelton as well, first game back after injury that has kept him out of the side for a while contributed well off the bench.
Overall a very good display by the team in cold, breezy, and moist conditions at Ballarat. Pity the consistency has not been there allseason, but I suppose injuries and only 8 home games doesn't help.
Williamstown can still amke the finals if the following scenarios happen:
1. Frankston beats Box Hill tomorrow, Williamstown beats Tasmania next week
2. Box Hill beats Frankston, Williamstown beats Tasmania and Frankston looses next week

Here's hoping. We may need a good crowd next week to help get the team beat Tassie. :) :)

Reserves:

Will: 2.1.13 - 3.2.20 - 7.6.48 - 14.6.90
NthBall: 5.5.35 - 7.8.50 - 9.11.65 - 11.12.78

Goal Kickers: A. Cook 3, C. Goullet 2, M. Dow 2, T. Langlands 2, A. Eames, S. Ralph, K. Gowers, P. Rose, K. Maghamez

Best Players: M. Dow, R. Crawford, C. Goullet, N. McArdle, P. Rose, R. Handreck

Note: A.Eames is not only the coach, but the runner for CFC.

The reserves have finished as minor premiers, currently three games clear of second placed North Ballarat. Having the bye next week will give them the chance to freshen up for another chance of premiership glory.

I thought Port Melbourne must have been second as they seemed to beat Willy when they played

As of now, Port are third, by percentage, but this could change if (when) they beat the Scorpions later today.
