I thought Woey was best on ground C1 played well as did Harry and Davies. Carracella had a great game until he came off injured. Bux played good also. And I also thought Clement played great.

Can I just say it was a perfect weekend

The Sharks smashed the pretenders from Melbourne

England smashed the Arrogant Aussies

Kangaroos kept alive their top 4 hopes and Victorias hopes of bringing the flag back to Victoria

And we kept alive the hope of a PP

And without the srien, Corey Jones would have marked the ball.

I'm surprised to see people bagging Woewodin's game, I thought with the exception of Buckley he was our best. Good to see him adapt his game to play as a tagger/backman but also won enough footy to be an asset going forward. No matter what people think of him he does have good skills and I think he has proven himself over the last few weeks and will play on next year.

Like wise J. Cloke, I felt very sorry for him yesterday, he gave everything he had and then a bit more and didn't deserve to on the losing side.

My Best: Buckley, Woey, Holland, J.Cloke, Davies, Burns, Clement, Davis

I've bagged Fanning a fair bit but I thought he played his best game for the club and may be worth perserving with afterall.

Like everyone else I'm excited about O'Brein and I think his emergance will mean the end of Cole at CFC.

hahhaha the stupidity of people bagging woewoedins game. If it were buckley doing the exact same things as woey yesterday, we'd be praising him.

Woey stuck with Shannon Grant all day and was moved off him in the last 10 minutes because Grant moved up the ground.

Further Woewoedin was asked to do a role he is not suited to. Full back against a small forward. Grant only scored 1 goal on woey, woey continously spoiled and suprised me. To add to it, he notched up 25 touches and didnt waste it too often. He did take a while to dispose of the ball but thats because we had no talls in our team to kick to!

Well down woewoedin, you can hold your head up high because you hit all your targets, got your nose broken, still put your head over the ball and won a few free kicks in this fashion in the centre and earnt b.o.g status to anyone that is willing to be unbiased about their criticism of woewoedin
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

I believe he's out of contract at the end this year - I am confident we will re-sign him for a much lower figure than his current contract. On the money we'll no doubt pay him next year, he will be a bargain - I, too, thought he was among our best on Sunday.

I think we're in a win-win situation with Woewodin; we can make him an offer of whatever we want to pay him - if he thinks he's worth more, he can go try his luck at another club and we won't be at a significant disadvantage. I do hope we can hold onto him, though.

Agree with this, though I'd chuck O'Bree in there as well.

Hey, I've noticed a disturbing trend - Brodie Holland has been regularly listed in our best for the last two years. Where's this "frontrunner" Robert Walls described in his wrap-up of our "insipid" performance in the 2003 GF?

Agree with the poster who bagged Robert Walls. He rarely gives Collingwood players praise and when he bags them, they invariably toss a handful of egg into that face of his- Hope he bags hell out of us preseason 2006- Go Pies.

No disgrace losing to North- they are an underated side. Looking down the father-son track, has Sav played 100 games for them yet- hope not- we want to keep all the Rocca DNA at our club.

Agree with your best, Sultan. It was Woey's best game in 12 months.

And IMO you are right - O'Brien's emergence may end Cole's career...
