I made my debut in round 1 1984 at full forward. I played 12 games and kicked 32 goals.

I kinda recall it was the first round of a season, as he sat out the year before waiting for a clearance from WA. Got a seaking suspicion it was Rd 1 66 v Hawks, which was McKennas first game. As for goals, no idea but I'll guess 3!

Did the Fitzroy ground have any stands other than the old wooden one? Was there any terracing/stands in the outer?

My memory is that he took that mark against Richmond at Victoria Park, but i read something recently that said it was at the MCG. Maybe he took a screamer in both games, as he did tend to make a habit of it.

I think it was St Kilda @Victoria Park.I seem to remember it was one of those " slow motion " highlights tape taken from ground level.It wasn't Trevor Barker he took mark over was it?

Trevor Barker was just a shot a dark.Actually glad it was Robbie Muir who was used as a step ladder.
