Leon played a good game and I thought Woey was okay. Well done to Heath great first match.
Gee feels like along time until the start of 2006.

Go the draft picks!!

Goodbye, farewell and sayonara: Williams, Davidson, Lokan, J. Cloke, Cole, Lonie and O'Bree.
Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~

It won't be over till MM finally gets his marching orders at the conclusion of the 2006 season.
Till then another year of misery.

Much much worse then last year. Both sides in cruise mode all night. A real shocker, with much worse to come...the cricket has been much better to watch. How bad have our injuries been this season? Almost everyone is down. The pain...

Look we won enough of the ball but just couldnt do anything with it.

Out of the player who were playing for their careers, they played ok

Woewoedin played on Dal Santo who only got 11 touches. Woey had 18 plus a goal for a pretty decent output i though

Jason Cloke was pretty good. He applied himself, 12 touches and a few spoils and presented on occassions, did enough

Davis was probably our best with buckley. 21 touches, 2 miracle goals and probably back to his best.

Walker unfortunately stays in the dud books. 4 hitouts and 2 touches is nothing to boast about. I watched him closely when he went forward and he just has no idea how to lead. His efforts are just not good enough.

Poor Ruzza, dislocated shoulder will probably keep him out now for the year if he opts to do surgery. However i do not know enough about it to comment.

Heater Shaw had a good first game with 22 touches and 7 marks. Very good effort, even though a few touches were a little off the mark. However i am pleased with his efforts and its good to see him get a game

Didak was obvoiusly pretty hurt with his collision with HUdgton. Good contest. Hope he pulls up.

Tarrant was good tonight. 2 goals, 15 touches and 5 marks is a decent return from a forward, flank type role as he was playing tonight. When Rusling went down, he was forced to go back to full forward where he did not get another touch. Still a bit off with his contested marking, he is just out of touch. However he nailed 2 goals tonight which was pleasing.

Votes for Best on ground
3. Nathan Buckley: 26 touches, 6 marks, 2 tackles.
2. Leon Davis: 21 touches, 2 goals, 6 marks
1. Shane Woewoedin: Good job on Dal Santo and takes the points there. 1 goal, 18 touches.

Special mentions to Clement who held Gherig well and Heath Shaw

Votes for Worst on ground
3. Caracella: 4 touches. Didnt get a touch until 3rd quarter.
2. Ben Johnson: 9 touches, was not accountable, tackling weak
1. Tarkyn Lockyer: Had 21 touches but must not be excused for the lack of accountability on Stephen Milne who kicked 4 goals on him. Tackling very very weak, was pantsed by Milne.

Special mentions to Walker and Burns(13 touches)

Have to continue playing Yakka, Shaw and J Cloke until years end.

I also want to have a quick bitch. I was criticed by uuuu....TheLoneSTAR for saying obree is a pivotal player in our team. We were absolutely smacked in the clearences and were down on disposal and severely missed obree. He is very important to our makeup. Ball, Hayes and Thompson had a field day out of the centre and around the packs.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

Lonie would have to be the softest player going around. How many times was the ball there to be won and what did he do. Sweet FA!!!!!!! See ya later soft ****!!!!!!!!!!

Heater Shaw looked very good. Runs like a pacer wearing hobbles.
Egan made mistakes but very exciting
Booch: not ready yet
Leon had a point to prove and was very good
Bucks the usual great game
Clemo killed Gehrig

Our tackling was pissweak. So we got thrashed yet again.

forget those that bag Obree.

It should have told people something when the only player in our side being tagged against Brisbane was OBREE (the so called dud).

Mathews must be a fool *cough*

I expect a couple more beltings are on the cards. The few left standing are spent.

Other than watching for improvement from the kids there is not much left for this year.

Just suck it in till we see how the club goes about fixing things at the conclusion of 2005.

Just one thing. Our players setup Booch to get crunched about 5 times tonight(because of poor kicking). Disgraceful the amount of pressure that was put on him. Thankfully he is built like a Panzer tank :D

If Walker is at Collingwood next year I'll spend every weekend next season door knocking as a Jehovas witness instead of going to the footy

I'm very impressed with Heath Shaw, thought he had a damn good debut.

Each week that I see Caracella, i can't believe we wasted a pick on him.

Thought Jase wasn't bad. Was good to see him back out there.

Iaccabucci had a few problems, i thought he seemed a lacking in confidence.

Egan, although made some clangers, didn't seem to lose his confidence.

Bucks is Bucks........no more to be said

Lockyer, i think he's lost it.

Woewoden......woeful again

Ben Johnson, so sad to see the way your playing. I know we'll see that fire back soon.

Rusling, seems like he's snapped his collarbone ........

Didak injured his knee again and after he came back on, when he went off next, he was icing it.

Clement and Wakes.........like Bucks, no more to be said
