Should also be broadcast on SEN as they usually follow the ABC match schedule.

Not good signs for Davidson, he has to start putting together some good games so he can get a go in the seniors before the end of the year.

Willy defeats top of the ladder Bombers.

Final scores:

Willy: 12.12.84
defeated
Bombers: 10.9.69

Goals: LLoyd 3, Tallis 2, Dukes 2, Rowe, Jarrad, Cranage 1 each.

Lloyd BOG with 3 goals in 1st quarter.

Looked like the Bombers would run over the top of the Gulls in the last quarter but they withstood the challenge in windy conditions.

Was down at Point Gellibrand today and hell its was cold. Davidson did in fact play in the seconds.Didnt really do much in the quarter and a half i saw. Great to see the boys have a dip today with Rowe and Swan both playing decent footy. Obrien needs a look in at seniors before years end, B morrison is a good chance to be delisted.
Good to get a win in for Willy...

Isn't it great to get a Willi game on TV for a change, particularly for those of us who can't get to games in Melbourne. For mine, I thought the pies listed players did:

O'Brien - Showed poise and willingness to commit his body to a contest. Must be close to senior selection.
Swan - Very good, showed why he has been playing seniors the last few weeks, only mistake was keeping the ball in for Zantack to kick a goal. Should be back into seniors this week.
Lokan - Actually did some nice things, missed a sitter running into open goal.
C Morrison - Ordinary, missed a lot of targets with disposal.
Cole - Ordinary, showed why he had been dropped.
B Shaw - Unsighted, expected more given that senior opportunities were on offer.
Williams - Ordinary.
Rowe - Very good early, didn't contribute much when the game was in the balance. Should be back into the seniors this week (as much as I dislike the prospect).
Hall - Didn't have an impact.
Davies - Very good, turned the ball over occasionally and his decision making can be a bit iffy.
Leonard - Didn't have a big impact but did manage to nobble Beasy which unbalanced Bombers.
B Morrison - Very disappointing, had no impact when on the ground.

To be fair, it wasn't really a day for bigger players so the impact of Hall and Morrison was minimised.

Very impressed with Lawry of the half forward line. Big bodied player who uses his body well and appears to have footy smarts. Worked well with Dukes. Neither is Pies listed of course.

classic williamstown today. I think this is the 4th time this year they have beaten the top side on the ladder and the other 3 times the teams were undefeated on top and then they put in an effort like last week and also games like Geelong who are dead last on the ladder.

Frustrating thing is they can play like today and worry any side in the competition so here's hoping they keep it up for a run to the finals (although they basically have to keep winning to make the finals, how the hell did Sandy let Tassie beat them at home, unbelieavable)

Was a very enjoyable game - especially considering that the collingwood game was absolute crap.

Liked Brayden Shaw's game nice polish and doesn't panick, would love to see him get a game with coll before the years out.

Julian and Dane also played really good games.
Willo played a good one to and i just hope that this doesnt mean that he will get another shot at collingwood becuase of it
