Agree and agree. Cole in particular showed nothing tonight. He tried to hit hard in the 3rd quarter, but just wasn't up to it. It hurts that he was a first rounder. Neon was good tonight, but he needs another 6 of them to save himself, sadly.magpie greg wrote:Leon and Richie are in their final eyars for the Magpies.

that was almost as painful as last week - only difference was the decent last quarter shown - but was it our play or their lack of effort ?
I'd like to think that the effort shown in the last was what the supporters can expect in the future.
Caracella - i'm yet to see a player get pushed off the ball or fall over as easily as this bloke. Tarrant has been coping it for weeks on the forum yet blakes effort over the last few weeks has escaped any real questions ? He was by far my worst with johnson tonight. At least cole showed some agression tonight if not much else.

Was it highlighted on the telly or the radio the absolute spray Bucks gave to Tazz on the wing in the last quarter. I dunno who else is getting a bit frustrated with no 20, but Bucks certainly didn't hide it.
Taz was beaten easily by Fletcher when he put his hand up to his eyes as if he lost the ball in the lights. Afterwards Bucks was screaming to the bench, just in front of where I was. "Fuggin get him off. Him. Get him off" etc etc etc. I could see the bloody veins popping out of his head. He was furious!.

Re: Hmmmm!
Yeah, Yeah Hiss. Same post as last week. But you still haven't answered the question I asked (twice) last week. What management team has given you the success you talk about in your 35 years membership?Hiss wrote:Well after suffering thorugh that non effort on a cold winter Melbourne night at the MCG, I have nothing but utter concern that we have allowed things to get to this.
Yeah i know we have injuries. But who hasn't. The McGuire plan is a complete failure. The loss of our real home ground, the worst period of on field failure in our club history, and a board who just sit back and seem unwilling or unable to make the required changes has Collingwood Football Club a mere dwarf of it's great former self.
Now Eddie to his credit just keeps rolling in the corporate sponsorships and big money. But what are we in the competition for? The Admin Cup or that One Day In September. Under Eddie (a journo) by trade, our club has become a on field laughing stock. Let us get a board in who get will make the hard decisons and sack this failing football department.
And to those who spend all their time on this website bagging this post stop making me laugh. For you seem to think we have no problem at Collingwood. And no problem that we let it get to this. And no problem just remaining in reverse cruise control. Go away.
For those of you who think we have no problem requiring immediate action. You are part of it.

the night for me can be summed up by three things:-
Johnno 2 shocking missed tackles, he ain't right.
Lockyer shoching missed tackle.
Tarrant shocking missed tackles and shocking kicking and marking he ain't right.
You can add to that
Egan poor kicking, O'Bree kicking to the stratosphere, Hall too young, Blake where were you, Cole caught in possession, Rowe week after week and on and on
We have not got enough players with experiacne and skills:-
Solution:-
out, cause how long do you keep trying!!
Cole, Rowe, Hall (sorry but too young ), Blake cause he must be injured, Tarrant come on he ain't right, Johhno cause he ain't right,

Good to see MG is as blind and biased as ever
Worst on Ground
3- Maxwell- Was compared to Bolton and Henneman by some bomber fans. Tried hard? Not in stopping his man running riot off him
2- Presti- SOrry but if you have 8 goals on you, that is worthy of [snip] votes
1- Tough one here, about 19 players vying for it, but Cole gets it. Showed why he didnt deserve a recall, WOey would have been a far better bet or Yakka, cant believe Cole was even an emergency, done nothing at Willy and did nothing tonight

If Jason Cloke was responsible for about 8 goals, he would be smashed by all on here including you, if its your boyfried Nick, it was a superb gamemagpie greg wrote:eddiesmith wrote:Good to see MG is as blind and biased as ever

Bias eh eddiesmith? That is funny coming from Jason Cloke's secret lover.
Interesting that Malthouse said post game that there is no one at Willy to bring in?
Where does it leave Traitor (and loose with the truth) Cloke I wonder?
I have said for over a year Mick has it in for Jason, why? I dont know, but who cares. I will enjoy watching Jason smash Collingwood next year.

He said there was only one change after the Freo game, it was him poor Clokey.
Malthouse was on the radio yesterday and told SEN there were actually 6 changes!
