Anyway, we don't want another win this year, it stuffs the tanking up!
Thats a poor attitude 35forever. I hope you were joking! Can you imagine how we would all feel (and the players as well) not to win another game for the rest of the season? There is nothing like that winning feeling, even if it means jack shit at the end of the day. What about pride? Bragging rights over Essendon and Carlton especially? We are Collingwood and tanking just doesnt cut it Im afraid, despite the 'advantages' of not winning another game. It gives supporters great hope for 2006 to finish the season well and winning games.

We may as well throw in the towel now and surrender then.

Deja vu: Can't help feeling we're experiencing groundhog year. Winning same matches, shocking injuries, shoulder reco for C2 and now almost no talls left fit enough to play just like the last 7 rounds of 2004. My head says we might fall away now that the finals are out of reach and lose this one like last year. Logically we should win but who knows, as we are very mediocre against Essendon. The only way we can make this a much better year is to win games like this and finish on a high. That means finding some new motivation to win each week.

Tried the old Cupido trick once more. Look for Jay Nash to debut.

Swooper, you obviously haven't read any of my posts on hte hated subject of tanking - Yes, I was joking, the point being that playing Taz at FF when he refuses to take it seriously is suicidal. The point is not that I want us to tank, but rather that I think that is our intention whether I lilke it or not, further proof of this is offered by the insane choice to name an unchanged team after the worst, most embarrasing and soul destroying loss in my forty years as a Collingwood supporter. Not naming Woewie was just stupid, we clearly aren't interested in winning.

Actually I dont even think that finals are impossible yet, there is one way we can make it, if we draw one game and win all the rest, that takes our abysmal percentage out of it.

Still don't think we'll win though, They always find something against us, and we crap ourselves in big games. Add to that the fact that McLaren will crucify us. After the Hird thing he looks after Essenscum like he's got money on them. Diver will get goals from frees...Taz won't.

I'm Back!!! After 8 long weeks with out my beloved Maggies to cheer for
I feel enthused and am ready to witness a turning point in the fortunes of my club. A win tonight....na, a thumping dished out to those stuck up pricks from essendon wil be the tonic that I need to warm my soul and put a smile on face.
