We have been mentally scarred by this mob ... hard to see us beating them for a few years at least.

yeah all the sexy men injured what's happened?! lol i was going to run to brisbane to nurse him he looked in pain. Well, tonight just showed how much we really miss Rocca, how much our midfield is dying, and how much we truly fear the lions.

Hard to work out what was worst tonight- Channel Ten's camera work/ Walls and Quartemain's sychophantic descriptions of the Lions play/ our weak efforts at the ball.

Time to take stock for 2006- NOW. Give Taz that op he needs- bring in Brayden Shaw and Yakka for experience- get Davidson into the ones & see if he's up to it- I'm sick of us playing half- fit players- clearly Bucks & Johnno to name two aren't right.

We must chase a few big-name quick and skilled midfielders for 2006 and start the climb back up the ladder-

Let's start 2006 by beating the scum this Friday- Let the football world know we are sick and tired of mediocrity.

Tarrant had a shocker no doubt about it butt........

on too many occasions the ball bounced 5 metres infront of him or it was kicked over his head. Hit the guy on the f'ing chest. He drops marks because he has forgotten how to take them. No one gives him a chance.

However he was lacklustre tonight and dropped a few sitters by his standards. HOwever the kicking must be looked at.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

Our midfield was very good tonight.
As many inside 50's as the Lions but their defense was very good and our forward line was disfunctional.

Did we pay our blokes tonight? We should withold match payments for that gutless display - It looked like it was a surprise to the players that there was a game on tonight - and don't believe the stat sheet our midfield needs to be delisted at the end of the season because no other club would pick them up!
Life is very short and there's not time for fussing and fighting my friends!

TV said it was the first time since 1981 that Collingwood had been goaless in the first half of a match. Telling stat that.

We didn't win a position on the night.

But remember we have some good youngsters on the way up and we had had some good wins prior to this match. Lets just put this behind us and think of next year and how we will handle this mob.

With our finals chances officially over we should concentrate on playing the players that we want in the side next year... players we will delist can rot in Willy.

The lions have one of the best midfields in the comp yet Holland and Licuria were the best mids on the park tonight.
Our forward line got as much of the ball as theirs but you would never have guessed it.
