Hopefully Egan will be okay for friday night and Johno comes in with perhaps Davis. This should ensure we have plenty of pace. Fraser is definitely out this week which is disappointing but Cam Cloke is competing well at the bounces. Travis Cloke is looking tired so Fanning will have to stay in for the height factor. Port are on a roll but we are playing well and they may be in for a shock. Hopefully the boys will not give up on the season and fall away like the second half of last year. Mick might blood a new player like Heath Shaw this week. I think we'll all like to see both Shaws and perhaps, Yakka, Davies, Rusling play some games before season's end. This season is primarily about rebuilding and so I hope it continues in that vain and we continue to take some risks at the selection table.
Presti is always a good match up on Tredea and it would be good to see Travis playing on Cornes and see how he fares. He is a star in the making but we can't expect him to star every week at this very early stage.
Bottom line: I hate Port after Carlton and Essendon and a win against them would be very satisfying for me. It may even take away a little of the pain from the hand I broke punching the furniture in frustration last saturday night.

Tough ask for an under manned pies side against an in form reigning premier, that said I certainly think we can push them and with a bit of luck even sneak away with a win.
We don't really know how Egan has pulled up, I'd be inclined to rest him, hes a relatively lightly built first year player coming off a serious concussion on a 6 day turn around, if there is any doubt he must be rested.
Would love to have a fit Fraser in the side but apparently that aint gonna happen so it looks like we'll have to stick with Fanning, simply because we have no other choice.
After a couple of disapointing games I think it is time for Rowe to go back to Willi to work on a few things and find some form, that said I think hes a promising talent and I wouldn't leave him there to long.
Willi had a big win over Werribee with Davis named BOG this plus his good record against Port means hes due for a call up, Yakka was also in the best so I'd give him another go as well.
Rusling vs Woewodin is an intersting one, Woewodin may be a little unlucky to go after doing a couple of good things when he got a chance last week but with Buckley to probably spend even more time in the middle and the conditions inside TD I'd give Rusling the nod. Rusling was good at TD vs Geelong and would give us an extra forward option and much needed pace.
Therefore my changes would be:
Out: Egan, Rowe, Lokan, Woewodin
In: Davis, Yakka, Johnson, Rusling
Of course If Josh was fit I'd have him in for Fanning, If Johno dosen't come up again stick with Woewodin.

I'll have a stab and say Johnno will miss again...
Surely they can't play Josh...
Can't see Lokan getting dropped in what may well be his last stint in the clubs 1sts this year.
In: Rusling, Brayden
Out: Tarrant, Rowe
If Egan has to miss then add Leon to the mix. I think everyone would be salivating to get a look at Brayden in the bigtime.
Give Tarrant a rest. He can't bend over, he can't kick. Alot like Rocca last year. Rus can replace him.

From my impression from MM he doesn't think broadie, licca n iacca cos they're so similar play all at once so I don't think iacca will get a shot...thoguh I think he's a talent we need to expose in their. I'd like to see Brayden in there. He'd give us some class. Ruz, Egan and Trav work well as a trio in the forward line. I think Ruz will suit the td...and it just frees up tazza. I"d actually like to see Fanning out but then it would leave only T cloke as a real back up
In: Jonno, Brayden (Iacca), Ruz
Out: Lokan, Rowe, Woey

I agree with Cam about resting Tazza, although I think Rusling needs more time to bulk up and become aware of how to use his body before taking anything but a secondary leading role in the forward line. (Personally, I think Rusling is a fair way off senior football yet).
I also agree with Cam that Lokan is unlikely to be dropped in possibly his last stint in the seniors, and I suspect Woey will be given a good run for the same reason.
I almost want Leon to have another game at Willy to prove he is fired up, but we don't really have the time to muck about if we are going to make all the decisions we need to by year's end.
Ins from: Johnno, Leon, Brayden, Heath
Outs: Tazza (rest), Rowe (kicking/defensive skills) and I'm happy to rest any senior player with the slightest niggle to give Brayden and Heath a crack in the midfield. C3 should also get a rest so we don't thrash him too young (meaning we'll have a small forward line??).
Willy development program: Rusling, Yakka, Rowe

Any word on C Morrison? Why didn't Tarrant train on Monday? Buckley looked great on the track and if they bounced the ball today he would get 30 again. Any news on what is wrong with Licca? He couldn't run and spent the last quarter on the bench v the Swans? B Johnson trained with the senior squad on Monday and looked in great shape. He should come back in? Fraser won't play?
