Come on eddie. He was fantastic last night. Destroyed Davis who could have really torn us apart in a close match like that. Future star.

This kid is a ****ing gem.
And to think he came from right under Bomber Thompson's nose... The rookie list is one of the best inventions in football for many a year.

Have to agree. Trav was very good in the last quarter, he and Cam both 'thumped' us into the game with their hitouts.

When you know that it is a possibillity that Barry Hall is coming from behind, and you are all alone in the goalsquare, its one tough task!

Peter wrote:How good was S.Burns in that last qtr...can anyone give me an answer why MM seems to take players of when they kick a goal...I am sick of this rotation bullshit..these a grown men i bet you if you asked Burnsy after he kicked that goal in the 3rd term do you want to come of his answer would have been no way!! Good players should not come off rotate the shit one's we have enough of them
He gave us a spine by playing at CHF, and Caracella at FF. They both helped straighten us up.

See what happens when you go STRAIGHT DOWN THE GUTS WITH A LONG KICK? That's how we got back in the contest. Anyone can beat the Swans with a fast paced style of footy.

Northern Pie. Woey had a stinker last night. Really didn't do much at all aside from that goal and those three great tackles in a row which should have been rewarded. I think he may have value as a forward pocket. Other then that...

Peter wrote:You can't put any blame on Woey tonight he hardly got a bloody run...you can' get posseys on the bench. Should play him more often up forward...that way he does not have to pick up anybody they have to pick him up.

As for Shane Obree bashers 30 possesion is hardly a shit game...at least he got the ball out.

As for Lokan how the **** did he get a game in front of Rusling. Get rid of the hack!!
How can you say what you said about Woey and not say the same about Loken?

Cam Cloke Kicking the ball out of the ruck (tried it twice actually) straight to Williams, Goal Swans is exactly what sh1tes me about his game and what goes on in his head when on a footy field.

Taking on Hall was one of the things I like about his game.

Has to become disciplined, do more of the Team things and less of the Cam things.

Brave effort, both sides had opportunity to run away with the game but set shots at goals were woeful.Maybe the conditions were slipplerier than they looked.I think if we lose next week our season is over but win and the way the season has been going maybe 10-11 wins could get you in the 8.
Good to see buckley get through maybe he has overcome his hamstring injuries.
My best buckley burns swan obree.

If Bary Hall does not get 1-2 games with striking Fanning that will be a joke.

Cam was being held by the opposing ruckman when he did that. Even had his arms held back to a degree. Truthfully, should have been holding the man against the swans, but that would never happen.

well when you have a player who can get the ball 30 times and not be damaging, its actually scary!!!!!!

thats the problem with collingwood, we have the players who can get the ball, obree, lica, tarks, swan, but none of thoes players are ever gonna be damaging enough, and we will never be premiership material with players like that
simple as that!

Could not agree more. Quite frankly im sick of hearing people say he showed endeavour and stuff, i think he's our dumbest player. He can do the most stupidest things sometimes. How many times do you see him jump early for marks as well?? He does great in the centre bounces, i'll give him that, but he just does some really dumb things time and time again. He could learn a lot from his younger brother i think.

We lost this game due to poor kicking. I saw the writing on the wall quite early with so many missed set shots. We should've been about 4 or 5 goals up at quarter time, we were killing them everywhere except where it counts....the scoreboard. Pretty disappointing.
I want a pair of Trav's ten pin bowling boots.

I'm sorry, how many games has Cam played again? I see some people expect him to play like a 200 game player not a 15 game player

Cam Cloke was bloody terrific. Has shown heaps in the ruck this year, shits all over Fraser and Fanning and will make a great combination with Richards. How old is he?

I just got back from a weekend away, so I'm tired and can't be bothered writing too much - but that loss was a bit shattering. I managed to watch the game while I was away, and I really thought that if we had 2 more mins we would have won.

Still, if we'd pulled our finger out in the second and third we would have won easily. I hate losing, but I especially hate losing by a point.

One last thing though - Buckley, you are a CHAMPION! He has been out most of the season, played about 3/4 of the game, and still went close to BOG. What a champ.

I find it worrying that people actually think that is the case. He got the ball, but every single time he got it, he turned it over. Time after the time. There is no point in gettign the ball if you are just going to tunr it over. O'Bree frustrates the hell outta me, he could be a good player.

Im a Cam Cloke bagger but was pleased with him last night. He was the only 1 who showed promise in the ruck and when he was on, we were better and we won 6-0 out of the centre in the last quarter with him in there. Trav Cloke late in the game was good too.

I cant believe this has only been brought up twice but the run down clock last night was terrible. This morning on the footy show, they replayed the last 30 seconds of the game and the siren went 13 seconds early. We probably wouldnt have won the game but who knows. Mick was ropable in his press conference.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.
