As for Port, they are our bitches? yeah well so is Adelaide, Kangaroos, Western Bulldogs, St Kilda. What happen in those 4 games again?
Chad Cornes will have his greatest game ever next week, I will be putting him in my dream team unless Mick is going to change our forward line structure finally
After a big 2142 last week in the dream team i just worked out my score for this week a bit down this week just 1947 still not bad considering 5 players scored under 50 points for me this week.
Still say "Port are our Bitches"!!
YESTERDAY is history
TOMORROW in a mystery
TODAY IS A GIFT
WHICH IS WHY WE CALL IT THE PRESENT
"Life is meant to be lived";LIVE FOR TODAY
typical moronic statement from a victorian who thinks they have the monoploy on football knowledge, What a stupid Comment!!...sorry that because of my location I don't qualify to know anything about football....in the future I will keep my mouth shut. From all reports the Shaw Brothers are developing but developing slowly...you were probably one of those brilliant football analysts that thought Rhyce was too skinny and not good enough to play at top level (btw..look who is calling skinny, skinny!) Woewodin has value in the side regardless of those who constantly bag him and O'bree has gone a long way int he last few weeks to restore some faith in his obvious ability, Lonie to for mine put in a great effort tonight and displays some real football smarts...with the younger brigade coming on, why in the hell would you get rid of the likes Tex Walker or Fannning (reletive new comers to football), they may need longer to develop and would certainly still be long term prospects for the pies. BTW I follow the VFL as close as I can and have seen quite alot of Williamstown and if you think that Cole and Leon deserve to be in the side anytime in the near future to prove their quality then maybe you should move up to Queensland with the rest of us football ignoramuses!
Woe is nothing short of a liability to the team. if u cant see that then u havent been watching our games enuf.
His disposal is around average, but for some reason he has just lost all sense of awareness when it comes to ball handling. the number of times ive seen him tackled and disposed under pressure is a joke. his a liability with no sense of decision making whatso ever. instead, why not flip out a young die hard player who will make just as many mistakes, yet learn from them. Woe's past it. Its pointless having him play anymore games, unless for some reason they believe his tradeable at the end of the year and wanna somehow bump up his value, which i cant see happening.
And LOKAN *, dont even get me started there. He has no purpose. Send him back to Port Adelaide.
Yep you are right...Woewodin has no value being at Collingwood at all, his experience at top level AFL could not be utelised at all with so many young players in our side...what was I thinking...yeah lets get rid of him in the most terrible way, burn the bridge so the guy leaves the club disgruntled and can in no way influence the upcoming generation for Collingwood....great Plan!! but what the hell would I know, I am from Queensland!
Not going back reading all comments(just got home from work...zzzz), pretty well concur with all above, but will also add that I thought Swanny was again supurb, still some errors but another top game, with the improvement we had all hoped for. gunna be very hard for Cole to get back in, barring injury! As for anti-QLD comments NP, I fully support you. I am a Melbornian living in Far NQ, and whoever made that comment is very naive. I'm very perochial too,but please people, look outside the square. Its a big game, in a big country.
Er...ok.... just went back. Some blaming Swan. Twas a bad incident, however comment still stands, he did have a good game. Was more pissed off with Tazs non effort in the 3rd QTR.
Going to bed now. Pies losing by a point and the Cowboys losing by a point, dont even think I'll bother with trying to get a leg over...could be a sore point!
this may have been said before(and i'm sorry if it has) but i thought u stopped the clock when some1 is being taken off the ground injured(I hope Egan isn't to serious). I'm not going to bother about who i thought was rubbish as they are not the ones u guys and gals r talking about
I guess they have to keep the sydney people happy.
Was watching the second quarter when I got frustrated with a Swans goal. I accidentally punched the wooden arm of my sofa. It hurt like hell. Then my partner comes in the room and tells me our baby who has been sick has just got much worse. I turn off the game at which point we decide we'd better go to the hospital for her. Turns out she is admitted with severe Brochialitis. Also my hand is xrayed and it shows I have a bad fracture and will need surgery in two days. I found out from a nurse in a darkened paediatric ward that we lost by one point. What's more she said it was great to see us lose by a point! Shit, what a night! Can we just erase that one from my memory. I wish. The plaster makes it hard to do that though.
Unlucky guys, was very anxious and frustrating towards the last few minutes.
Hope your kid gets better real soon Perthmagpie and I can sympathise with your injury as I have punched and kicked many things due to Collingwood games and came off second best.
We should have won by four to five goals.
Shots that under 14s should regularly kick were missed.
Bad kicking is bad football.
Tazza is a big offender, please dont make excuses its been going on for years.
The guy cant kick.
His skills do not suit his game position, thats the fact.
The problem with it is that his inability to kick breaks his confidence and thats why he looks so dsinterested.
He is a required player but maybe could be used in a different position.
Take the pressure off him for a while by getting him out of the forward line.
I wouldnt trade him just use him else where.
For those who tell others they know nothing about football regarding O'Bree. Rewatch the 4th q. When we moved the ball quickly and hard through bUcks and others we played our best. When we move it slowly (O'Bree/ o"backwards) the play stagmented. There is NOTHING worse as a forward than leading to a guy screaming for the ball and watching him bounce it or handball it to a man under pressure. It cases you to stop leading to him. You watch Taz last night he cracked the S$%#@ because soem payers wouldn't kick the ball to him instead stuffing around with it. Possesions don't make you a footballer it's what you do with them. Matthew Lloyd can have 7 possesions and win a game by what he does with them, what we love about Bucks is this exact thing. Please stop substituting possesions for impact otherwise you should rename yourself mike Sheehan.
Ps. Why drop Rowe we constantly abuse Mick for not playing young guys and now we are suggesting this as a way to take us forward. Slightly contradictory I suggest.
Well that's been an interesting twenty minutes of reading.
I didn't see the game - my stormboys were on at OP so I was there watching them thump the bunnies (btw - talk about hopeless football clubs, let us forever be thankful we follow the pies and not the bunnies).
after hearing about the loss on the radio, I indulged in some punching of my own (only skinned knuckles tho, i just punched the ceiling of the car).
Sounds like bucks is back hooray
anyone who was talking finals before this game was seriously deluded - MM wrote this season off long ago, despite those three wins. The rest of this season will be spent rotating all players of the list through (like Lokan) to find out who will stay and who will go.
What's the point in finishing eighth and falling out of the finals in week one? I'd rather finish last, get a few draft picks and Bring On 2006!
Collingwood es bueno para siempre
Ellos saben como jugar el juego....

Obree absolutely blitzed tonight.
He played well enough. Got 30 odd touches. A few turnovers were in there, but he is at least doing the job he has been set.
A skill many a footballer struggles with is winning the ball, believe it or not - O'Bree is a leather magnet. We just need to stop going sideways when we get the ball. Although when playing Sydney, that's what occurs.

Cam Cloke played his best game ever.

Agree wholeheartedly with both. Cam was excellent in the last quarter, and gave us the momentum and movement from the centre breaks. Possibly came of age. Maxy was terrific. He attacked from defence and beat Davis all ends up. Have said it before, and will say it again - Maxwell will be a future leader at Collingwood.
