Tarrant's errant kicking cost us the game and one must question his worth to the team.

read the stats and open one eye as well, you might see more of the game that way!
I cant believe I am arguing with a guy with COLE emphasised in his forum name but watching the game is usually better than reading the stats to see the bigger picture, you should try it.

I was so proud of our champion - Nathan Buckley.

Swanny was fantastic, Cameron Cloke was at least providing a good contest in the ruck and Ryan Lonie was somewhat doing his job.

However it is unfortunate that our Full Forward can't kick a goal from a set shot...... It really is a major worry.

Also David Fanning looks as weak as an Ethiopian.... just gets pushed over way too easy.

My Ratings -

Shane Woewodin- 4/10 tried hard, took a nice mark.

Ryan Lonie - 5/10 kicked a couple of goals and did a reasonable job on Goodes.

Alan Didak- 4/10 Tried to be too fancy.

Nathan Buckley- 10/10 Absolutely inspirational - 28 touches only 65% game time.

Brodie Holland- 3/10 Maybe was sick?

James Clement- 7/10 Doesn't have the same initials as Jesus Christ for no reason.

Julian Rowe- 1/10 Turnover king

Blake Caracella- 5/10 Did a couple of nice things in the last quarter.

Shane O'Bree - 5/10 Serviceable

Shane Wakelin- 3/10 Not much game time.

Chris Egan- 4/10 Tried his heart out in the last qtr.

Scott Burns- 6/10 Courageous in the forward line.

Paul Licuria- 5/10 Went missing late in the game.

Chris Tarrant- 0.5/10 Missed simple set shots, cost us DEERLY.

Tarkyn Lockyer- 2/10 Reasonably quiet.

Nick Maxwell- 7/10 Showed promising signs, won a lot of the ball up the ground. Nice goal.

Matthew Lokan- 0/10 Doesn't surprise me.

Travis Cloke- 2/10 Tried hard, but still learning.

Cameron Cloke- 6.5/10 Good game in the ruck especially in the 2nd half.

Simon Prestigiacomo- 5/10 Looked asleep early, did his job after that.

Dane Swan- 8/10 Gathered plenty of the ball- great effort.

What does everyone think?

Did you like the kicks that were to the oppositions advantage, the ones to no-one or the endless handballs that put his team mates under pressure every time?

O'Bree, Swan and Rowe made some shocking mistakes. I think Rowe needs to go back to Williamstown for a while, he will be a good player in time but I think he needs to go back and work on a few things.

I said before the game that Fanning is no good and I think that was well and truly confrimed, but we had no choice, no Fraser, Richards and Rocca we had to play someone.

I hope Josh comes good soon becasue we miss him badly. Just shows how stupid the decision to delist Crowe was

Oh what a game. Sitting on the edge of my seat then I was standing in front of the TV trying to get the ball through the sticks.
How great was Bucks, he is a champion. That last quarter was brilliant.
My little boy only 22 months got his first Collingwood jumper this week and wanted to stay up for the game in the end he went to bed wearing his top. I thought it would be a good omen......

Gotta say happy to see Bucks back but a bit sad we didnt win that one but I am glad it was only a narrow margin cos they all give me the s&*(s
and that Nick Davis is an idiot.

This is just a repeat of last year. Was great to see the champion Buckley show that he is still one of the best players out there, but there weren't too many others willing to help him out. Burns took some great marks and played well. Why did it take MM 3 1/2 qtrs to realise our forward line was completely shit? It was only after then that we actually looked like kicking a goal with all little guys. I think thats the way we should play for the rest of the season. Goal kicking was terrible as usual, but so was Sydney's. Tarrant has to be moved out of FF he's lost it. He had the flu I think but he's still a horrible kick.

Sucks that our season is over so early once again but hopefully the Pies will keep winning and give us something to look forward to in 2006.

well at least we can now forget about finals and look at our list, we should have won, same old problems, ie Woey to slow, Lica I think rightly or wrongly has struggled this year, Waks has not been at his best for weeks, Rowe needs a break at Willo

At last C2 is showing what he is amde of and Lonie gave a bit, what was the point of Loken

Finally bucks is the man I am in awe as were the commentaters

next week can we please have at least C1 Rusling, Davis in and out go Waks, Woey and Rowe

Dr Alf Andrews wrote:Great game. Very exciting to watch. But I reckon it will take a lot out of them.
Agree Alf. All of those 'positive vibes' built up via the big wins over WC and the Cats may have been lost.

The legend continues. This man is a deadset champ. 28 touches on return. Did we expect any more? Really? :D Onwards and upwards, Bucks!

Lonie was ok, Burns and Bucks brilliant. Egan putting his body on the line late was great to see. Cam Cloke and Trav Cloke gave great service, while Wakes was alright as a loose man across halfback. Dane Swan was terrific.

Need to bring Yakka in for the rest of the year, Rowe and O'Bree can have the rest of the year off, maybe bring Rowe in for a couple of late games too see if we can strike a bit of luck and get him to show something that might be tradeable but you would have to doubt it.
