Missed the game due to an exam, and then worked so havent seen or heard any of the game just the result.

Shattered about Rhyce ... he has really turned his career around and I hope that this injury doesnt affect his game.

Just wondering how Tarkyn played?
who he played on, etc.

Thank you

His first half was great. Dropped off a bit in the second half though. Played on Davey who did pretty well also.

well he played on davey, some say he played well... i dont think he did, i thought he was beaten and gave davey to much space, and his kicking and decision making were way off... got alot of the ball, but most for no use!

He didn't give Davey space, Davey was too quick there is a difference. Both Davey and Tark would be in the best.

well i disagree davey was too skilful and left tarks behind....

his kicking was just about shocking today... and like obree not worth getting that much of the ball if your gonna turn it over or kick it no where..

was not happy with him at all today.... he was briliant on jnr ablert but this week he was not very good at all.

Oh well, at least he is getting the ball.
Looks like Mick will keep playing him in the back pocket.
I thought Ablett would have been too quick for him but he did pretty well and got more of the ball.

The problem is does it hurt the opposition?
This week it doesnt sound like it did

Thank you for your comments, much appreciated on my fav boy

well we had a a great first half, fraser wasn't even at the MCG he may has well of sat on the bench and his lack of ability to aid in effective hit outs to give us clearances hurt us terribly, as for swan, he didn't do his job, his opponent kicked four quick goals whether he tried his guts out or not he got flogged. C2 was ok, but is capable of better.

Once again Tarrant was being smothered by a defense that thought they were in a grappling match, really how much more before Tarrant snaps and cracks a full back for holding him, my bet not long.

if we look at the game as a single half (the first) we actually looked a good side, playing good footy, but as the old legs got tired the young chins dropped and Yze buried us into the second half of the ladder.......

You may laugh but I think Cole would have been more valueable than someone like Morrison today.

Especially since we were short on options for Yze. Cole is not too bad defensively, it is his disposal under pressure that lets him down.

Much like Shaw he has copped it since 2003. Unfortunately, unlike Shaw he has not been free'd up.

Makes you wonder when we will see Cole in the middle as promised.

I guess never and our supporters will continue to stick the boots in till he is traded to Essendon for pick 1984356.

Disappointing effort but lets take the good with the bad and try to learn a few things from it I spose.

Not sure what they were thinking with Lonie but in a tough physical game like we saw today he showed clearly why he should be given the flick, our club has no room for guys that look as though they would fit in better at the Sydney Mardi-Gras.

Lonie - Nuff said, put him straight into the Can't play basket along with Walker and Willams.

Burns - Worked hard, displays everything that a supporter wants to see in their players.

Lockyer - I have been critical of him alot this year but liked his game today, one fo the few we had that regularly hit a target.

Wakelin - Did a couple of nice things then got taken off, moved around ETC, NFI what Malthouse was thinking.

Fraser - Not up to it, giving him the benifit of the doubt you could argue that it is just form in which case he should be playing for Williamstown, Fanning would be far more competitive at the moment.

Not alot of players to mention but it was that sort of game with Melbourne cutting us up in the middle and particularly the clearances, Travis Johnston & Nathan Brown's passing to their leading forwards was something spectacular today and gave our defenders little chance while at the other end our forward line was never really in the game simply because they were getting nothing from the middle where our mids were always under pressure and could really only hack the ball forward.

what are you guys talking about, tarkyn was best on field for us today. Davey did not kick a goal and was held in the 2nd and third quarter whilst tarkyn notched up 30 touches. Tarkyn was by far more damaging than davey. Davey was forced to look after lockyer and any touches davey got were in the middle and not effective. Tarkyn drew davey out of the goals and into the middle where he was not comfortable.

Im the biggest tarks bagger but he was our best today by far. His kicking however is way down on what it used to be.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

COLEingwood he hit alot more targets than he missed and was clearly one of our best. Davey didn't do that much.

The only guy Davie did not dance around was Lokyer.

The guys movements are so sporatic I had no idea which way he was going to go - neither did half of our side.

If Lokyers game today was 'average' than I hate to think what you thought of the rest of the team.
