Saw on channel 9 that pies trained again this morning with all the emergencies training while Burnsy, Brodie and Caracella didn't train. I think it is normal for Burnsy to miss the final session but I hope Brodie and Cara are allright.

Bucks apparently trained brillantly again kicking goals from 65 out. Is said to be pushing very hard for selection.

That is a very original thought. What do you really want to ask me?

Well he's named as an emergency all hope is not lost....
from viewing Danniher's body language...he's s***ing himself if Bux comes in.
People have got to remember that Bux isn't expected to play a full game but he'd be a great moral booster for the side, he'd be lucky to recieve 50 minutes of game time...he'd have 2 weeks to recover from his first game. Bring him in. Every game that a player goes in...they risk themselves of injury....Footy is about taking risks...look what has happened when Collingwood started taking risks in their game plan.... we risk buckley and any old or young player when we play them. He is ready to play.... put him in...AMEN

It wont be close, we will kill or be killed. 40 point plus margin. If we're still in it in the third we'll roll 'em.

It doesn't matter if Bucks plays or not, we are capable of beating Melbourne.
We have done well enough the past 3 weeks to beat 2 of the top teams and there is no reason we cant do the same tomorrow.

Geez... Monday cant come sooner !!

GO PIES
Do it for Lica

Caracella doesnt train much, is on a very modified program so thats no worry. Each training session this week there seems to have been different players missing so they are obviously just resting players and trying to get tothe break next week

All we have to do is put heaps of pressure on them early in the game and they will back off us.

Our tackling has been great in recent times and I just hope that continues tomorrow.

Btw, how much do we all hate the Melbourne supporters, I was really p.o. at that sign last year " finals over", and now on their bulletin board they are disrespecting our great man - take a look-

I hear its been raining or pouring down there. Is that true? Thats going to throw the advantage to the smaller side i.e. Melbourne. It would also be another reason not to play Bucks.

Forecasted rain tomorrow. I doubt it will suit melbourne as they rely heavily on Green and Bruce through the middle who are biggish midfielders. Further, their forward line of Neitz and Holland would not benefit from sloppier kicking and slower delivery with presti and wakelin on their hammer. Will make robertson dangerous. Licuria, burns, morrison, swan, woewoedin would love it but our forward line may not as tarrant, rusling and cloke probably like been on the lead. We'd have to worry about nathan brown, travis johnstone and james mcdonald who will be suited to the conditions, however they lack a really good in and under player, possibly simon godfrey could be dangerous.

However that said, the mcg is a fantastic drainage ground and as long as it is not raining during the match, the ground will be in tip top condition. If it buckets down during the match, the experience of licuria and burns will be great and surely woewoedin can find some touch when speed and precision kicking is not a big key. Our more versatile forward line would be an advantage too. Will help nullify jeff white in the centre. But lets beat melbourne rain hail or shine i reckon

Thank god my computer is fixed, i have been missing nicks for the past week and a half and even though that doesn't sound like a long time to me it felt like a life time. Anyway Back to the boys...

We will win. it is as simple as that. We always match up well on the dees, we would have beaten them last year if it was not for the fact that the tribunal were a pack of assclowns and rubbed taz out for 2 weeks.

We have a quick ( who would of thought this at the beggining of the season :D ) foward line and midfeild, that can and will beat melbourne. We also have one of the best defences going around in the AFL, not that many so-called experts want to admit this fact. They will towel up the dees. That is a fact.

Cam cloke played a blinder lsat week against steven king - he had 17 hit outs and made steven king look like he was the 2nd year player. Cam will jump all over jeff white, and as my unlce said 2 me last night make him look like the weak, soft prick that he is.

Whoever suggested the chad on bruce has hit the nail on the head, Bruce needs to be negated by someone who can run with him and who has the knowledge to spoil (when the time is right). However lonie could be another option given his ability to run, and hold down a defensive post fpr when bruce goes foward. He is also the kind of player that the opposition has to be accountable for because he is a beautiful kick and can and will punish if given the chance.

Davey could be a concern but tarkyn did a great job on gary last week. However Davey is a lot faster that Gary, so rhyce could be an option.

I am looking foward to seeing melbourne becoming our bitches again.
Pies by 23 points.
