You won't need Fraser down there (after Rocca returns, fine until then I suppose) with Tarrant, Cloke, Rocca, Didak & Caracella. Rusling will be a better bet. All of a sudden we have a solid defence and a forward line that oozes class, power and goal sense.

Noticed O'Brien in the rooms after the game. He is a Mal Michael-esque lump with better skills who may get game time in the next couple of years as Wakelin deteriorates.

We are on the way.

Great win, enjoyed it. Was good to finally actually see a win live, been to long since the Carlton game.

As for the Bucks comment, it aint going to happen, because we have a small problem where Williamstown have a bye. Unless Bucks is going to return via the Williamstown 2nds??? A brownlow medallist in VFL 2nds, that would be a sight, biggest crowd ever for a VFL 2nds game as well I would think

Miz - you're right, he didn't have a very good game - but I didn't think he was as bad as some people are saying. He did his bit - but I didnt' see the first quarter, so maybe. Perhaps a drop to Willy would do him good.

Williamstown have the break? well, maybe a couple of quarters in the two's would be the way to go - talk about gate recepits, it'd be record breaking.

And Fraser not needed in the forward line - no he isn't needed, but when he regains his fitness and form damn, he'll be an asset to an already powerful group!

i'm stunned. If someone said we would do this after the effort against Freo, you would have wanted drug tests! Fantastic! there is a load of talent there. How is Bucks going to get a game?!

Bucks will easily slot in, the midfield still isnt settled or consistent, trying to get a game at either end would be impossible for anyone

Williamstown 2nds are at home next Saturday, would be funny to see the biggest crowd ever down at Williamstown at 11:30 in the morning.

Fantastic win. So pissed I couldn't get tickets.

So many good things to come out of this game.

Didak - what can I say. He should be feared. He turned the game in a few moments of brilliance. was really a daicos like performance, kicking them off both feet from the pockets, outside 50, everywhere. He was dumped after a tackle in the last quarer and was unlucky not to get a free. I was hoping he would kick his 6th and do the aeroplane as promised to the AD4 team.

Brodie Holland & Tarks - getting better every week

Travis Cloke, more consistent this week and beat all his opponents.

Clement, Wakelin, Presti - ever reliable.

Swan has taken Cole's spot and should retain it.

But I want to single out one player in particular. He won't get a mention in the best and Sheehan would probably call him a D grader, but over the last few weeks has shown composure and maturity beyond his years. He always seems to take the right option under pressure and now one of our best long kicks. He is as promising as any of the best young defenders in the comp. Nick Maxwell. As someone astutely pointed out - he has all the best bits of Clement, Wakes & Presti. He could be a 150+ game player for Collingwood. Keep it up Nick!

What a bloody win, just got back from the Casino! absolutely thrilled with the boys!

I seem to recall Mighty Mick Malthouse (lol, its good to be able to say that again) saying the other night i think on Whiteline or maybe in one of his press conferences that Buckley would not play at williamstown because he is a one in fifty year player or something along those lines!

Rusling looked good on the lead, looked like he needs a bit of work below his knees. Cam Cloke was bloody fantastic, got so many hit outs to our advantage - seems he has given Josh his disease of completely not timing his leaps at the ball! Hopefully he'll lend him the cure!

ummmm

Dane Swan and Clement were fantastic!

As a passionent Lockyer bagger - i'm happy to take my medicine and even admit that perhaps the boy is back in town!

Brodie made up for what he lacks in pace with amazing agility, he dances like Ali!! Looks as fit as i have ever seen him and run himself into the ground!!

Why does it feel like we suddenly have an abundance of talent, there seems to be too many players in the squad that should be playing ones!!
Its great, just means that everyone will be giving 110% on the track to try and get a game!

Egan could get a enforced lay off with that hit on Ricardi - in my opinion probably worse than the one by Stengline as Ricardi had his head over the ball!!

Is Ruslings knee alright?

and did Cam get booked?

How funny was Mooney?
