When is the offical team announced? Shouldn't it already be in since we play tommorow night? Anyone know the ins and outs yet?

Last time we met:

Stats:

http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=2004ro ... ch_id=1256

Less than a goal in it at 3/4 time but the Cats outran us in the final quarter, in true 2004 style.

The replay is on Fox Footy at 3.30pm tomorrow, or alternatively you can use the free streaming replays trick.

We did ok in the midfield last time - they got a lot of drive off HB when Scarlett killed Rocca. We have a lot more forward options now - we were highly one-dimensional last year and Rocca was coming off his ankle injury. Scarlett is not anywhere near is All Australian form, but they will look a lot better with Harley and Mooney back in. They also get Corey back, but have lost Johnson, who is a highly underrated player.

We can win it if we want it bad enough, but all is not lost if we can win against Melbourne next week.

You mean less touches per goal??,.. yes that seems the case. An important factor form last week was also our accuracy in front of goal. I have mentioned this before, but it is a very important aspect of our game. If we kick goals when we go forward, it not only helps put better scoreboard pressure on (obviously), but boosts the team moral knowing that forward thrusts will be rewarded to the max on most occasions,.... I'm still talking about football,.... :? right?

Joel Corey failed a fitness test. That is a good thing for us. He has been in great form.

I'd have preferred to see Flaps stay in. C2 is tired and needs the extra week. Tems the breaks, as they say.

I'd have liked to see Lones get a run...
