These pigs on league teams are hooking into us now for poaching players we havent poached.

Wankers.

Clubs are using us as patsies to sign their players up cheap. When is the AFL gonna step in & stop this crap? Coaches put out big calls to the players to show loyalty, and keep the group together, then they all dump a couple of players they dont want. Ask Cara.

Makes me smile like a Cheshire cat every time he kicks one - go Cara!

J Brown was on tonight making Luke Power look like an arsehole if he leaves. This is dead-set restraint of trade. Demetriou is a piss-weak wanker who hates Collingwood. I'm sick of the idiot!

Barnesy just described us as "bloody fantastic" last week, and Piggy called presty the "definition of courage".

But all 4 picked Hawthorn!

Hi ya 35forever, too true
We got the last laugh with Cara. He's not a tough player but makes his presents felt doing the classy things, hes perfect pass to Travis was a highlight. Obvoiusly Leigh and Kevin seem to like the tougher type of player getting rid of him. If we get the right mix with Trav and Rocca doing the phisical things there is always room for Cara. Can't wait for Saturday interesting to see what chances the "experts" give us this weekend.

Think I pressed the wrong button there but I was sopposed to quote 35Forever.

Take chances, enjoy your footy, have a go, the skills are all there. Stick Rusling at FF, give taz a run, let Licca & Johnno & Cheesy run the lines, dont try to tag. No bloody excuses for not beating these overrated kids. Theyre 2 years away from a grand final, we could play in it this year.
I like your attitude! Of course we can't know if Rusling will succeed in his first game - good chance that he'll take a few games to adjust to AFL defenders - but if possible it would be good to see Taz spending time up the ground. But more likely Rusling will start on a flank or pocket I'd say, perhaps releasing Cara more. It would at least be good to see Taz and C3 rotating a bit b'n FF and CHF to mix it up.

Hopefully MM will continue in the same attacking vein as last week. Not just vs the Dawks but forever.

We don't go in as favourites. They have been the form side. I haven't done a check, but if we could check the top 8 for the past 4 weeks, the Hawks'd be up there.

I think we have gone a tall to high.

Don't agree. With Fraser coming back into the side, the money was on Cam dropping back to Willi. He's been selected at CHF there and should play his way back into the seniors soon enough.

For those who are interested, this is the Willi seniors side for tomorrow's match (Collingwood listed players in bold):

B: Lonie, J. Cloke, Tallis
HB: Lokan, O'Brien, Cranage
C: Iacobucci, Davies, Cole
HF: Williams, C. Cloke, H. Shaw
F: King, Lawry, Davis
R: Walker, Pearce, Woewodin
Int: Langlands, Boyd, Jarrad, Hall, Galea, Theodore, Dukes, Coates

That's almost a full Reserves side! Which puts even more pressure on those in the seniors to perform. Or else. Getting back into the seniors is just going to get even more difficult as the season progresses.
Glory Glory Good Old Collingwood, Glory Glory Hallelujah,
Collingwood's The Greatest Team The World Has Ever Seen,
And The 'Pies Go Marching On (in Black and White Stripes Forever!).

Very happy to see Swann has been kept in the side. The kid has done everything right at Willi, and has performed admirably over the last 2 weeks since earning the promotion.

Yes. And it's sensible. Two knee reconstructions and only 15 minutes in one senior game means we need to take it easy bringing the kid back into footy. I believe he has yet to play out a full game in Willi's reserves but, once he does, then he'll surely be in the running for selection in Willi's seniors. Let him take his time building up fitness and strength.

This side makes me extremely happy. :D
We have so many youngsters playing and keeping their spots as well as more getting introduced all the time it just makes me so excited.
The hawks have been playing some very good football - playing on at all costs.
They like to be able to be free running - as did west coast last week (or most of the time for that matter).
If we play the hard tough and uncomprimisimng footy that we played last week then we have a very good chance of winning.
We had 53 tackles last week and we need to keep up that pressure as it forces turnovers.
Looking back to when the hawks lost to carlton - carlton put a hell of alot of pressure around the stoppages in the last qauter and they steamrolled the young hawks.
That is what we have to do.
Clement on Williams is a must. Clement being the player he is will be able to shut him down, he is a smart footballer (not to metion he has an MBA - surely that makes a difference  ) and a lot wiser - look out williams
Morrison on hodge has the stength to go with him and the pace (look at his job on embley last week if you dont believe me!)
I like the idea of putting Lica or burns head to head with the extracter (mitchell) and see who comes up trumps.

Please, Please, Please win - my brother is a hawks supporter and having bragging rights is a must (he told me in 02 and 03 that the hawks were better than the pies - that is how deluded he is)
I will be sitting in the hawks members area and need us to win so i can heap crap on all these deluded brown and gold members.

Pies to win by 16
Partyn & the pies is there nemore to life???

so tex is rucking in the reserves too meaning cloke will have to ruck. I just want those two to get a run up forward, surely the reserves have a ruckman or do they rely solely on the collingwood listed players.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.
