I think with rusling coming in Didak might get more time in the midfield. He will certainly inject some pace and will actaully be able to hit a forward line target. Wouldnt be suprised to Rusling play up the ground as well.

I hope so Presti_is_god, i have been hanging to see didak in the middle. Is he fit enough to do it however, doesnt he require an operation on his knee. Anyway, hears hoping didak is in the centre this week.

HAWTHORN
B: Jacobs, Hay, Osborne
HB: Brown, Croad, Hodge
C: Smith, Mitchell, Clarke
HF: Ladson, Franklin, Vandenberg
F: Williams, Dixon, Brennan
FOLL: Everitt, Crawford, Bateman
I/C: Taylor, Ries, Lewis, Roughead
EMG: Greene, Holland, Thurgood
IN: Ries
OUT: Greene

I must say a player we have forgotton all about is chance Bateman. He is a star and has been averaging atleast 20 touches a game. He does some amazing stuff.

Id put shaw onto him. He will match him in pace. Bateman gets way too many touches to be let go.

In a shock move, could Rusling be put on Williams? People have mentioned Rusling doing a lot of defensive work on Tarrant at training. Rusling will beat Williams for pace and we know how MM loves to throw young guys in the back pockets and flanks.

Bringing Fraser in is a sure sign they're going after this game, as he's the man to counter the Hawk's on-ball form. Rusling will help free-up Dids and Cara for some pace and skill forward of centre. Prediction: if we restrict their midfield and our youngsters keep running, Tazza will cut loose.

No. Although it would help get us a priority pick!

Read Williams had 7 kicks for 5.2 against Freo. I assume he probably had an off day.........and still kicked 5.

As for beating Williams with pace, interesting - Williams takes all his marks on the lead - so I assume he is no slouch.

Clement all the way, was unlucky against Brown - been dominant otherwise.

I'm appalled James Manson is mentioned in the same breath as those hacks!

Here here! Remember that goal he kicked on the boundary against the Bumbers at VFL park in 1990?

I too take umbrage at Jimmy Manson being there, remove him forthwith!

Stop worrying about Williams, he's kicked bags in their losing games too. Our job is to kick fifteen plus goals again - THAT is why we beat West Coast, we kicked goals. If we kick 2.8 in the first half it dont matter what williams does.

Take chances, enjoy your footy, have a go, the skills are all there. Stick Rusling at FF, give taz a run, let Licca & Johnno & Cheesy run the lines, dont try to tag. No bloody excuses for not beating these overrated kids. Theyre 2 years away from a grand final, we could play in it this year.

our bigger concern is getting a decent run from the orange pigs. While they keep giving the opposition 5 goals a week for nothing we'll struggle. If you wont give Taz a kick fine but stop paying them at the other end you blind mongrels.
