From all reports Josh is ready to come back which is great - I'm thinking he might replace C2. Having said that i've been impressed with Cam and together with Fanning they have been serviceable in the ruck. I was going to suggest that we should 'ease' Fraser back into the ruck rather than having him up against an in form Everett straight up - But next week its King (Cats) then White (dees), Goodes (Swans), Brogan (Port),.... ECT !!!!!!
Davies will probably be give a full game at Willy = Woey or Davis IN
Swan might be another unlucky omission to accommodate the other IN.
I think we can do it!!!! Surely the Hawks can't win 3 in a row this season?!?!?!.... they couldn't possibly be 'up' for that long!?!?!?

Go Dons? I dont know if I can do that. My mouth siezes up when I try to say it.
Still, I cheered for Port in the Granny!
Anyway, its not about getting off the bottom, its about getting into the 8!
Depending on how things go, 8th could be a better spot than 5th. Imagine if the Faints struggle into 5th & Freo finish 6th, you'd much rather be 8th than 7th!
Some of these teams are gonna fall over in the second half, (my votes go to Richmond, Kangas, Adelaide & Sydney,) and some have to do better than they are, (my guesses are Port & Saints,) Leaves us cheering for Wet toast, Geelong, and Melbourne to win every game.
If you look at the draw, we need to win the next four or five, and then our fate will be entirely in our own hands as we'll be playing all the teams likely to be in the log-jam for 6-8th spot.
But any way you carve it, we'll be ruing the last quarter fade-outs in the first 8. And if we cant beat the Hawks we'll be one of the teams looking at the 'patsy position' - 9th. It's almost at the point where 9th is the new wooden spoon!

Mark Williams will be the difference between us winning and losing this game. If he gets 10 touches then he will kick probably 6-7 goals and we will lose, People are saying clement, that might be fine and all, but really mick needs someone dropping into the space in front of his leads. 90% of his goals this year are off a lead and mark.

yep with everitt dropping back there cloke would need to be accountable. However i like jonno's idea. Cloke is at his best when he can help out. Finding the player to be dropped will be hard. If Cloke comes in, maxwell would have to miss. Otherwise we are to big down back considering hawks play a smallish forward line.
The macthups down back will most likely be:
Wakelin vs Dixon
Clement vs Williams
Maxwell loose (has backed back into a few packs and plays similar to Jared Rivers in my opinion)
Presti will probably match up on everitt if he plays forward. Otherwise he may be given the task of Dixon and Wakelin to play on Franklin.
I think the real question is whether collingwood will be able to stop the players like crawford and co kicking goals from the middle. I think crawford and Hodge must definately be tagged.

It's great that finally we have a problem trying to fit people in! And we are feeling bad about dropping Cam and Davies. It's going to be interesting how Mick is going to work the midfield having dropped a midfielder for an allrounder in Fraz. With Taz still under an injury cloud I would like see Ruz and Flash on the half Fowards and Dids that rotating from midfield to halfward now that he has got some match fitness back. Unfortunately I won't have a chance to follow the game live but I can't wait to see the young pies in action!! Should be a top game.
