collingwoodforever and eddiesmith, you are right there was probably no purpose but i have been giving the votes for best and worst since round 1. I said it would be very hard to decide and i dont think im a cameron cloke bagger. I actually admire the way he has fought in the ruck this year. The truth about him is that he isnt presenting enough around the ground and isnt breaking packs up which i know he has the capability to do. There were a few attempts up forward where he just stopped and didnt run through, i still think maybe his shoulder worries him and he did cop a knock earlier in the game which may have restricted him as he spent a lot of time off the ground. If Cameron Cloke plays a good game i will admit it. The west coast game was an improvement but he has the potential to do more.collingwood forever wrote:DaVe86 what is the purpose of giving votes for worst three. I thought Maxwell played good, if Davies isn't on ground and is only 18 what do you expect, and whatever C2 does you won't have a good word to say!!!
What about O'Bree's disposal?
The fact he has rucked has not allowed him to really demonstrate his ability i suppose. Please do not think i am a cloke bagger, i just dont think he has played a good game yet this year. But his efforts have been admirable.
There were not any really bad players but i thought id do the votes anyway since its been my tradition after every match. I just looked at stats. But ill admit i was a little harsh on him, he showed more promise than he has shown in the past few weeks. So please do not read too much into those votes, there was just no one else to chose. As i said, if the votes were for the worst on ground from both sides, no collingwood players would feature.
Further, if you have payed attention to my posts, i have been critical of Tarkyn Lockyer and obree far more than cloke and i thought obree and lockyer were fantastic on the weekend.
