Carlton will beat us for the priority pick this year.
Three beltings on the trot. (scoreline flatters them today)
One in front of their home crowd at Optus.
Carlton have lifted in almost every milestone game I can remember. Especially against us. They are in strife.
I don't know if I should be pleased or sad. Three guns coming their way.

More
I only saw the last half and was again horrified at the umpiring. What's with the free kicks awarded against us inside the opposition's 50? We can't get any until the game is decided and Tarrant would have to be clubbed with a baseball bat directly in front of all three umpires and he would probably still not get a free!
Loved the games of Egan and Fanning (amongst others).

Yeah, I know, but I just wanted to see what reaction I'd get. Must say, its been pretty disappointing so far. Tess must be asleep!!Miz wrote:Doc63 wrote:I'm stunned!!!!
I dont know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe we wont be getting first pick after all.
Pretty piss poor effort by MM though. No Buckley, No Rocca, no Fraser, no Davis, no Richards and only beat the top, undefeated, side by 23 points. Off with his head now!!!
9 out of the last 30 is still not that impressive Doc but if we can repeat what we did today anything is possible.

Will at least get one week (depending on points etc..)lethalburns wrote:By the way - Didak will be suspended for 2-3 weeks for a right hook in case anyone missed it.
Watched whole game on fox footy - we were so hard and committed I was just applauding at the end of the game - fantastic effort!! One to remember!

Was working and just got in to the MCG half way through the 3rd Quarter, just in time to see the Eagles score the three goals. Thought I was a jinx. Re Mark Fraser, his bouncing was terrible but to an extent , that suited us, given our weakness in the ruck. But he did us no favours with a number of free kicks against us in our own 50 metres area. But then again, he hates Collingwood. Even hated us when he played with us....Big double this week end Pies and Celtic - winning the Scottish Championship. Cheers.

Dale, your quite right. it was wonderful to see the team go over to the cheer squad at the end of the game, Clement pointed to the black arm band he was wearing, gestering that they won it for Matty.Dale61 wrote:In Pies_Chat, I questioned which team would show up for the last quarter. I'll be the first to admit that it was great to see us play the full four quarters, unlike previous weeks that has seen us go home after 3/4 time.
Huge effort by the boys, and I'm looking forward to see the replay this week.
Matty, this one was for you.
A perfect day today, Collingwood beat the Number 1 team and Carlton lose at their last ever game at Optus Oval just like we did in 1999

I was going to complain about Cam getting 2 votes for [snip], but when I saw Dave86 was the one who did the votes, whats the point? Its no surpise he would bag a Cloke
For the first time this year I was mildly confident, Mick finally made the right call at the selection table and we won our 2nd game, no coincidence there
