Onto the game. You gotta be happy with that ...
Yeah, mate ... totally rapt

Yeah. He showed us why we'll never be anything other than a donkey's arse with him in the team. Why doesn't he actually TRY for a bloody change. I'm sick of seeing him prancing about like a wanker.

... Fanning into the side added a bit i reckon.
Which way did he go?
Which way did he go?
great work, that was a terrific and constructive well though out post
A bunch of kids into the side, what do you expect. They played well. Fanning did have a good game, look at his stats. He had a greater presence than cloke and walker have had in the ruck and finally allowd them to go up forward.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.
Nitric,
From where I sat on the 50m line at the Punt rd end, ground level southern stand it wasnt a pleasant place to be in the last qtr. They definately had the numbers on us.
and BTW, Presti's mark over Richo was a ripper, but if Fanning had have held onto the one he went for in the goal square in the last qtr, mark of the year would be all over now.

Did y'all notice what the richmond players did after the game, apparently a Wallace initiative, after a win every player goes into the middle gets a footy in club colours, signs it and hands it to a kid in the crowd (they arent allowed to kick it) bloody good idea I reckon, it'd make those little kids' day.

Excellent idea & the footy's must be worth a bit of dosh to one would think,.. probably only 1 more to come for the year looking at recent history makes them rare as hen's teeth ... bloody Tigers
Half way through the 3rd you could tell we weren't going to kick any goals with the forward structure as it was. Should have tried some things to at least give us a chance. I would have moved Walker into the backline or ruck since he wasn't doing anything as a forward, and would have tried Wakelin as a tall forward, we needed that class up forward. Or in the last try Clement as a forward.
But MM would never rob the backline to help the forward line, not in his wiring. In this case it meant an almost certain loss instead of a wild chance at a win.
All in all good effort from the players but the lack of scoring continues to wear thin, as someone said it's not only when we have most of our forwards out, it's also the forward coaching.

If Clement had been moved to forward or midfield, could have tried Maxwell or Swan or other options like Licuria on him. He kicked 5 in the last anyway so it wouldn't have been any worse. YOu have to try different things in a situation like that. of course if he had kicked 5 on a different player then the move would have been blamed.
It's fantastic that the Tiger supporters are on a high. Good luck to them, mind you when I remind them that they have beaten no one they still talk about top 4.
