Yeah, mate ... totally rapt

Yeah. He showed us why we'll never be anything other than a donkey's arse with him in the team. Why doesn't he actually TRY for a bloody change. I'm sick of seeing him prancing about like a wanker.

Yawn.

As I said - if all you want to do is bag the boys, you went home with the wrong crowd today.

Great effort and to only go down by six goals made my day. They tried and I am happy with that. We are clearly undermanned and if the players have a go what more could we ask. Not happy with the loss but I expected to get done by 15 goals. We need the rest to keep winning and for us to keep blooding youngsters. 4 picks in thr first 20 should be our target.

For what it is worth - today was a step in the right direction. Look the senior blokes fell over again at crucial times and showed they are not 'A' graders but there was a lot to like.

We lost the game because we had 4 first choice fwds out! Pure and simple. TC was run off his feet and C2 was on the bench. The worst thing to come out of the day was that Walker really struggled. He just does not have enough shit in him.

Presti and Wakelin give us a backline we can build around. Thought Swan was good down back - tough and good with his hands. Also liked how he could run fwd. Maxwell was good to. Increasingly they show they can handle the heavy stuff. Clement is going ok, bit down on confidence and you can see that in his kicking.

You would have liked Egan - showed he knows how to get the footy. He won't kick that poorly every weekend. Davies certainly knows how to get to the footy and did ok. Fanning was a surprise packet for me. He was 10 times better than against Bullies. He was made to look worse because his onballers did not rove him.

Think Richards needs to come in and tandem ruck with Fanning and then have two clokes and Tazz up fwd. Yakka also needs to come back in and probably Neon.

Other than Walker though not sure who else to axe. Suspect Didak is out is he?

Richo is Prestis Bitch and to the toothless tiger supporters behind me, they realised it too. :P

Walker as usual did ONE thing and needs to do more.

Fanning did well.

Ryhce another few votes to extend his Copeland lead. Good on you Rhyce and I am sure your sister is proud of you as are all of us.

A report will come from the game after an investigation (Re C2)

Gee "Dr Alf", on a "doctors" salary I would have thought you could afford pay TV. Or don't proctologists earn that much?

The last 15min were,...

Before that, the effort was brave but the usual skill errors were all too frequent - Still their endeavour leads me to believe that MM hasn't lost them,... which is relieving after that 100+ point loss!

Fanning: Been ages since i've seen a Collingwood ruckman win centre taps,... well done - Tall & well built fellow that RAN all day!

Shaw: Yes the missed bounce was terrible but not worse that trying to run to the top of the goal square to kick a goal,.... you're inside 50,.. KICK IT!!!!

Rowe: :?

Burnsy: Did very well apart from a couple of SILLY mistakes that really cost us

Presti: An excellent job!!.. very underrated this fellow! A great mark on Richo,...... and a great handball to him as well :(

Johnno: Hasn't his disposal improved!

Didak: Can't believe people bag his game,... very classy!

O'bree: I don't care how many K/H/T he gets a game,..... send him to WILLY!

Clokes: Cams goalsquare mark in the opening minutes was a nice take & Travis does look like a player despite a few sprays.

Let me also add:

Wakes: How good is this guy!!,... a ROCK!

Egan: As i said on another post, not as 'flashy' as i was expecting - but that's probably a good thing! I except that nerves were to blame for his first couple of kicks (& avoiding contested marks??) but do look forward to seeing more of him. Moves fast & smooth for a tall boy! You can imagine him as an option next to Tarrant, Rocca & Fraser or even further up the ground?!?!

Holland: Did a pretty good job - LOVE how he puts his body on the line when required - Mind you, that should be standard at ALF level but sadly is not - And i think can finish & run!

Runner6: Sent clear messages to his targets & ran straight off the ground as required by AFL regulations. Just hope he can lift in the sledging area next week

Couldn't agree more. I think they count his kicks and handballs during the warm-up sessions.

I was so pleased with our effort considering we were without so many of our big names....I loved seeing the endeavour and even though there were mistakes made by our new boys, they never stopped trying - I was proud of them ! I have my Collingwood flag proudly placed on my desk at work today and I defy anyone to have a go at my club after yesterday's
effort..
Chris Egan is from my home town and I know several busloads of supporters went from here to see his debut. I think he is going to be great for us.
Lastly - I think our back line are THE BEST in the league, Presti and Wakes really save the day for us game in game out, but Clement is GOD as far as I am concerned - our next Captain I hope !

Some of us prefer to remain anonymous rather than seek the limelight.

You wanna attack a shy, young, country kid for having nerves in hist first game?!?!? Then go on to make an offensive remarks about Cam Cloke. Quite sad really.
