Sensational idea 1 eyed. Give the priority picks to 9,10,11,12 instead of the underperformers. Make them need to win 8 or 9 games or something like that to earn them. That would be a much better idea instead of win 5 or less which produces crap teams who are not competitive enough.

Dave86, if what you are saying is true, and I have no doubt it is, then why is everyone bitching about Yakka being dropped? Sounds logical to me if that is the case, when you have a young promising midfielder who is cramping and clearly below his normal pace you are going to rest him in the 2's.

Do you know, I remember very very little from the mid seventies, as I was just a kid, I remember the day the photo at left was taken, and the Ali-'rumble in the jungle' (our grade 6 teacher brought a TV into the classroom & let us watch it, he said it would be educational, but now I realise he just wanted to watch it! - it just hit me while I was typing this!!) but the one thing I could tell you without a second's hesitation was that we picked up our first spoon in '76. I remember that humiliation like it was yesterday.

Why oh why cant we have the decency to admit we're tanking. As I type we're ahead of the tiges at halftime. Don't revive our hope, dont win a couple once we're games & percentage clear on the bottom, just for show.

If youre gonna do this disgusting thing then fu^%ing do it, dont f*** around with us. We've been through enough.

If only you knew what that kid in the photo above left has suffered because of his choice of footy team. He doesn't smile like that anymore.
