that is absolutely incredible, we need pace, yakka has shown a bit and we drop him for swan who is slow and is no better than morrison. Cant make sense of that.

We need pace and we have Lonie and Yakka sitting out.

If we win on Sunday it proves how much Richmond hate us that they dont want us to have the no1 pick in the draft, we are a shoo in if Mick keeps picking the team like this. It looked bad last night, it is damn awful today

I am totally bewildered, last week our best 3 in the first half were davies, yakka and rowe and was the only positive of the game that our young brigade showed something. But he's dropped Yakka who was our highest possession getter in the first quarter with 8. He has shown more class than even rowe i reckon. Mick said experienced players were getting the chop but he's cut yakka.

However im rapped C2 is out and Fanning and Egan are in so he's got something right. Lonie and Yakka out is dead wrong.

Another match committee gem

Mick: You know Richmond has lost their no1 ruckman, we may finally be able to win the ruck, no, that wouldnt be right, we want to finish last so lets bring in a shit rookie ruckman and dud to do the rucking instead and send our best available ruckman back to Williamstown

Swan and Fanning are smart picks IMHO.

Not happy about the Yak being dropped though, probably have kept him above Egan.

yep hoggy totally agree, Cam Cloke is by no way our best available ruckman. Fanning may have been judged too harshly, his two games were against dean cox and Luke Darcy, give the guy a break, they are the 2 best in the leauge. About time he got another shot. Atleast he is a specialist ruckman, cloke is not. Its time for Clokey to go back in the ressies and dominate the forward line, the position he was made for.

Yak and Lonie are the only mistakes this round.

I'm not covinced on Fanning yet. Only Tex for back up wouldn't fill one with much confidence...Not writing him off in anyway, but.......

yer but cloke and walker doesnt fill with confidence anyway. Fanning is a future prospect for the permanent ruck spot, cloke isnt. If we are rebuilding, fanning should get a run

Fanning is a true ruckman. I am happy with Walker in the team as the change ruck who can be a forward when he isn't rucking.

Cam Cloke is not a ruckman and has to learn to keep his f***ing feet.

But hoggy, I'd prefer to have C2 in, as he gives some real grunt in the ruck.

Lol jonno he gives grunt but does nothing. ALthough he has tried hard we have to admit he has done absolutely nothing for us there. I cant knock his effort because he has tried very hard. But he honestly has no idea how to play ruck. Walker played well last week and doesnt deserve to loose his spot although he is not much better in the ruck.

I really think we gotta give clokey a run in the reserves, let him play up forward with Brent Hall and Rusling and let the 3 own the forward line. They are the future of the collingwood forward line and must learn to play together. Cloke is a forward not a ruckman. Let him play as one. At the moment with Trav, Walker and Tarrant, he cant break into the forward line and when he does he has dont nothing apart from 1 good mark and a few lucky 50 metre goals which bounced through. Let him get some form in the reserves and bring him back as a forward when our rucks are back.

ANd let Fanning get a taste of the big time against an average player in Knobel in a position he was made for. Fanning is an ok tap ruckman

Cam should always get a game ahead of Walker, better at all areas of the game. What a joke

If Fanning has to play, it would have been better keeping Cam as the 2nd ruckman, unless Mick is going to go back the failed experiment of Walker on Richo so he can have his usual 8 or 9 shots on goal

Atleast Mick has seen the light and going for draft picks, maybe he has his eyes on winning the VFL premiership? Who knows what that dickhead is thinking

Eddiesmith your Tex bashing is becoming like a broken record.

I reckon he must have kicked 12 goals on you!
