It look like no one is looking forward to this game. These pre-game threads are getting shorter and shorter. At the start of the season, one of these threads would have been about 5 or six pages long by now.

You can't blame anyone though.

If we get hammered in this game it's going to be hell leaving the ground.
Nothing worse than listening to 20,000 turncoat supporters yelling at you on the way out.

Put in a gutsy effort pies go down fighting if for nothing the supporters that are going to get hammered by scum if you cop a pounding.

Better yet give them the wake up call they'll need after there last 2 wins have been soft.

Well I for one cant wait for this game for a few reasons.
1) I want to see if there is any fire left in the bellies of the playing group.
2) Im looking forward to seeing Egan have a crack.
3) it will be the last game I can get to for a while.

So Go Pies

Hit them hard, hit them early and dont take a backward step.
Most importantly, show some heart.
Even if we loose (which we wont) fight till the end and dont get down on your selves if things are not going your way.
Persist and they will!

just remember teams always come out hard after a belting and richmond by far are not a champion team yet.

Also a point of interest. In the pre season we won 3-1 games, yet this is the first time in the season proper we are playing a team we played pre season. Richmond of course were a team we beat. So hopefully we were able to learn a little something about some of their kids. They are a young side, as are we.

Its not over by any stretch of the imagination. However they are on the rise whilst we are heading for the wooden spoon. They have more to play for one would think, however if collingwood wants to keep some record membership numbers, they better start pulling their finger out and giving us some idea of optimism before 2006.
There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

Well the ins and outs were on Ch 10 but there were so many I may have forgotten some...

IN: Johnson, C.Cloke, King, Swan, Fanning, Egan...H.Shaw (I think was the other)
OUT: Fraser, Woewodin, Cole (all injured), J.Cloke (omitted)

I hope they pick Fanning, need some really height in the ruck and he has been playing good for Willy.

Also good to see Williams wasn't resorted to.
