How can one game hinge on the performance of Tristan Walker?
Simple, with Walker playing, Presti isnt. The Dockers will be able to score more freely, put the pressure on early and we will not fight back. Our best chance is to get off to a flyer, and stopping Freo early, but we wont with the weakened backline, and when he goes into the ruck, we wont get near the ball.

Makes a big difference as the players he replace are 100 times better

yes, as written and said, Presti, Cloke, Johnno, and Chad are out- Johnno is out with conc. as it his second for the year.
Jimmy Clement is definitely playing. ignore goss saying he is not. did not train Wed. to rest shin and heel but ok now.Johnno has to say he will play -as someone could be from the media or tell someone who actually believes it and use sit. They are all told to say nothing - or at least always say playing. they may know you, you may be standing on your own with no spies near by- but then again maybe not and they learn to stick by the basic rule.

Jeez we are up against it this week.

In the past i would have said we will fight ourselves out of the corner and come up with guts and passion.... but this year? I don't know if we have it in us... :(

One more thing, our luck is surely due to change. The harder you work, the luckier you get - and we have been that close on two occasions this year - our time will come.

The team selection down there is doing my head in.

As i understand Iabouuci, Presti and johnson are out for Walker, Davies and Woey

Decision made today whether Cloke and Morro will go. Two of these will then play H.Shaw, D. King or A.Iaboucci.

My question is why did we drop Iaboucci. The kid went ok last week. Thought he showed composure, good skill and an ability thru heavy traffic. Dropping him does nothing more than damage his confidence. MM says no player is the scapegoat of last weeks defeat. Well theres only one bloke he has dropped. The only plausible reason I can think of is that did not want to play young kids in WA against gun opponents. Well why then include Davies??????? Woey is slow and will get nailed against much quicker opposition. Obree has been crap all year and needs to f&*kin go!

MM and the selection comm have lost it. I can accept us losing bc of injuries but it just shits me that he kills the confidence of our kids. We keep playing these 27 yo losers instead of kids who they keep raving about are their best crop in years.

Spot on Chris71. If Yakka gets dropped that is a joke. If Cole plays that is a joke. If Heath Shaw and King don't play that is a joke.

Still, Yakka signed his death warrant last week by hitting team mates with mosty of his possessions. He needs to do a few O'Bree helicopter kicks to stay in the side and chuck in some Dutchy hospital handballs.

I agree - its becoming increasingly comical. The only way MM could justify this is to say that he is playing O'Bree so we can run him into some form and then trade him at year end.

The guy has been just terrible and I am sick of hearing MM say 'ahhhhh you fans just don't get what we are trying to achieve'. Well if we don't get it - tell us. I hardly think any of our opposition is going to care - they don't rate our midfield. I cannot think of one of midfielders this year being tagged. What does that say??????

I understand you need some big bodies in there but you can find a balance. O'Bree, Cole, Holland, Lockyer and Woey must fire this weekend or they have to be seriously in the gun.

Davies, H.Shaw, Rusling, Egan, King must be given opportunities.

If Cloke (any cloke) plays on medhurst like you suggest, he will kick 9 and we will go down by 100. Medhurst is quick and agile. I think Clemo had him last time with Cole on Farmer. Wakelin will get McPharlin and probably maxwell will get first crack at Pav.
Get back on top.

Yeah I tend to agree Cam - Clemo has done well on Medhurst in the past. Wakelin will get McPharlin as you say. Think JC may get Pavlich - not sure.

The key will be stopping their midfield. They are not good at stoppages from what I have heard so we need to bottle it up.
