How are we going to do? What will the ins and outs be?

Maybe a road trip is just what we need at the moment - a bit of team bonding!

I think we could surprise everyone and win this one. Pies by 19 points.

For those that aren't aware, there is no free to air TV coverage this weekend. The game is only on Fox Footy.

Does the same apply to Freo - ie a win on the Road come back home to a loss ???

We will belt the dockers. The mighty western magpie army will lift the boys to another flogging, just like last year.
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

All WA Magpies join the Western Magpies now:

From what i saw at training today, collingwood spent a lot of time working on long distance kicking, so im expecting them to play very direct and im expecting rusling to play and tarrant to go into the centre or half forward. Cam Cloke didnt train, so id say he may be out this week.

hmmm...

Pav - Clement or Maxwell.
McPharlin - Wakelin
Farmer - Ben Johnson
Medhurst - Cole? Worries me a bit. Medhurst has a great turning circle and low centre of gravity - need some who has a sure tackle and close checking.

Jason Cloke on their third tall, which they rotate, but also dropping back into space.
Go Pies!!!

Ouch. Huge loss of the former and latter. Presti is in top form, while we all know what to expect from Clemo. Makes the match ups pretty interesting. Wakes on McPharlin, and Jason Cloke on the dangerous Palich. I'd also like to see Chad Morrison get a go on Pavlich. I have no doubt that Chad will play.

From what i could gather, the plan this week is to play very long. The boys spent a lot of time doing full field drills which involved kicking to long leading targets in the centre of the ground. These targets were predominantly Tarrant and Cloke. They inturn kicked to leading forwards who were Rusling and Hall. Interesting to see Tarrant playing around the centre of the ground. Is this something to expect this week?
They'd better be kicking long. We can beat Freo at their own game if that is how we play.

Would Brent Hall be a chance this week to play in his home state? Tex is a certanty to come in as well.

KYPREO, like the idea of playing Maxwell on Pavlich. I was at the Fremantle vs Melbourne match last Saturday, and noticed how Pavlich leads up the field for his marks, but isn't always that damaging inside their attacking fifty - not a goalscorer. This suits Maxwell, as he prefers, I think, to be run outside the fifty, and spoil his opponant on the move, rather then getting tangled up in a stationary one-on-one arm wrestle. Maxwell seems to be turning into out giant killer!
