We are getting worse every week.
Send the whole team back to Williamstown except for Didak, Holland, Morrison, Clement, Rowe, Caracella, Tarrant, Shaw, Fraser, Maxwell, and Clokes.
Tarrant is lucky to get a game. If he wasn't Tarrant he would be dropped by now. Licuria still can not kick. His 20-30 possessions each week are worthless. He can not even kick on his left foot! All of our midfielders are taggers at best (Holland, Burns, Licuria, Johnson, Shaw, O'Bree, Lockyer / Woewodin etc)
Tell Bucks and Rocca to wait until next year, play all the young kids for rest of 2005, get some draft picks and start rebuilding for 2006!
We are a pathetic side at the moment, and deserve to be on the bottom. Our recruting and coacking team need to be sacked.
By finishing 16th with priority picks, we will have a chance to pick up a few ready made players - like 5 or 6 pacey midfielders who can kick both sides of their body.
Bring back Daics!!!

Ease up on Tex. Please tell me how many guys are thrown into four different key postions per game at the age 21? Not many. Perhaps none.
He started playing good football at the end of last year when left in the backline week after week. We were all feeling really positive about him. How quickly you forget.
This year he has been used as a plug for every hole we have in our side. It has had a negative impact.
He is tall strong fast and has a good kick. How bout we stop investing time in duds and start doing the right thing by players who actually have some ability. If Mick persisted with Tex as much as he did with Williams we would have a raging CHF running around.
Also don't be so quick to judge Cole. At the start of this year there were alot of similarities between Shaw and Cole.
Shaw has been removed from the pressure of the backline. From what I saw today Cole had a fair bit of heat on him. He is more instinctive and decisive in the middle. Do we not need a new midfield? I would be trying to determine how many of these guys are potential midfielders ASAP, before we draft the wrong players for 2006.
Johnno Cole Shaw Lica as the centerline. Burns rotating between middle and HF. Brodie interchanging bench/HF. Lokyer / Morrison HB.

Shaw has been removed from the pressure of the backline. From what I saw today Cole had a fair bit of heat on him. I really think he plays with far greater direction in the middle. Do we not need a new midfield? I would be trying to determine how many of these guys are potential midfielders ASAP.

I never felt positive about Tex yet, he is not a good kick, he has no football smarts, has NFI
The last 2 weeks without Rocca, Tex had a chance to stand up and do something, and what did he do? Absolutely damn nothing
As for Cole, no room. If he wants a game, he can play back or get $@&^#, to many similar players to Cole who deserve a go in the middle and forward ahead of him. He is to damn stupid, needs to realise he cant bust through a pack, or run untill he gets tackled
Sack em both because we certainly cant trade em

Cole was on the wing Cam? Each time I saw him collect the ball he was in the backline? I dunno I could be going blind hehe.
Umm eddiesmith Tex plays in patches all over the ground.
You want him to fill the role of AR whilst he is in the backline, ruck and forward line? If Rocca is such a gun athlete why isn't he chucked all over the ground? Last time I checked its because he starts puffing like a hoover. It gives you some idea of how much pressure they put on Tex.
He was showing good form at the end of last year. I dont see why they cant leave him in one position to learn the game.
You failed to answer my question. How many guys are asked to learn 3 different key positions at 21.

Yeah sack or drop Cole, Holland, Lockyer, O'Bree, J. Cloke, C.Cloke, R.Shaw, Tarrant, Fraser, Caracella and Morrison (have I missed anyone that has been suggested here lately?). Bring in O'Brien, Rusling, H.Shaw, B.Morrison, Hall, Fanning, Davies, Richards, Williams and Lokan. That'll really improve things.
