You are joking aren't you If not get a grip - out with a knee then a bloody horrific postop infection that resulted in significant weight and strength loss - gutsy effort to be out there at all and if Rocca and Co were OK probably would not have been!eddiesmith wrote:Fraser never provided a contest, he just stuck his arms in the air and made no attempt to mark and let them run it away for an easy goal countless times, Fraser was &^*%$^%$ing weak today
Were you at the bar - when Josh outmarked 3 of em He will improve week after week as his stamina and strength improve - give the guy a break FFS

Sorry ... I thought he had a bit of a run last weekend. So this was his first game since the knee ... even better effort then.eddiesmith wrote:No, Josh didnt have a run at Willy, he came straight back, that is a &^*%$^%$ing joke. He should have gone back to Willy as he needs a couple of weeks to get back into the swing of thingsLone Ranger wrote:Agree with you that Cloke was very good today.eddiesmith wrote:Also, why the **** are people supporting Fraser? Up forward he was an absolute &^*%$^%$ing disgrace, didnt even &^*%$^%$ing try half the time
Josh has just come back from a knee. He has only had a bit of a run at Willy for one game before this. With that in mind, Josh was pretty good today.

I think Holland may be sailing into dangerous winds. Three poor weeks in sucession. May well be time for a spell with Woey. Cole. A real strange case here. Do we keep him in, or send him back at Willi - no performance the out the door? What should we do? I don't know what has gone wrong for him, after such a great season last year.Big T wrote:By the was Holland was terribe and must be dropped. And don't start me on Richard Cole - his lack of confidence is embarressing and is doing no one favours - must be dropped.
Frase and Taz couldn't buy frees - Gehrig got a tonne of them.
The Cloke. How did they perform?:
Jason Cloke: 7/10 - Did a good job early, then struggled on Gehrig. Skipped over a few times, but should have been in the team long ago.
Cameron Cloke: 3/10 - Tred water - again. Really out of touch now, and lacks a bit of pace.
Travis Cloke: 5/10 - Again, looked the goods. Will be a star. Can see a few - Trav32 or travs_a_legend usernames around the place soon.

how about tarrant, he was hobbling badly at three quarter time, seemed to walk it off, fraser was limping, wakeling limping in the last quarter, licuria off throught stages of the last half, Clement not fit enough to go to Gherig. There were a few niggles there today. Does explain a lot but, st. kilda apart from riewoldt are full strength and full of running, collingwood was never going to win. I suppose we ran out of puff in the first half and just had nothing left in the second.
I would like to say that although tarrant didnt have a great game, 5 tackles from a full forward is great. He chases hard and always provides an honest contest. He does not deserve bagging i dont think. Considering his backup, he is battling, things just are going against him

Cam certainly has a way to go. Then again, he aint a ruckman, and will be relieved to see Stretch return in a few weeks. Fraser was good when on today. Better for the run. Feel for him with the size of his legs (or lack of it). 5 years hard work gone to nothing.DaVe86 wrote:Fraser was ok today. We looked better when he was on. In the ruck we got the ball out more, and up forward we looked more dangerous when he was on. Shows Cam still has a long way to go.

Jonno, Licuria was on luke ball in the first half and destroyed him. He was moved off him for some reason in the second. Obviusly, if brodie went onto ball, he was destroyed because ball killed us in the second half. Brodie used to be a great tagger. I really think it is time to use him as a crumbing forward, the way he started his career. Id rather a pacey player like rowe or johnson become the onballer and licuria and shaw can do the tagging jobs

Didak's thumb? Where did you hear that?perthmagpie wrote:What were the injuries? Presti groin? Didak thumb? Johnson concussion?
Agree re Tazza, Dave. His tackling is underrated, and oftne goes un-noticed. Not as good as Aaron Davey or Gary Ablett Junior, but still a dangerous force. His pace is very deceptive.
