Pebbles is on telly right now saying Trav will play on the wing.

The only thing in our favour is that no one is paying much attention to the game and assuming an easy Saints win. If we play our best footy, like we did for most of the Kangas game we can beat them.

But we won't.

We'll be right with them for three quarters and stop in the last 10 minutes to go down by 40. If we were somehow 5 or so goals up at 3/4 time we could go on with it, but how the hell could we possibly kick that many goals? All they hafta do is stop Taz and we've got no one to aim at, unless one of the kids makes the debut of the century. Maybe Travis will do something amazing.

What boils my butt is that I know we are capable of beating them, we really are.

So why won't we?

SA TAB is offering $11.00 for the Pies to win by 15 points. Not bad value given the recent form of these two sides. Ten bucks says that if we are ever going to win, it will be within 15 points - on goes the tenner. Hell its only three beers worth anyway.

I seem to recall the Pies matching up on the Aints reasonably well in the past. Holland generally plays well against this mob, as does Licca and Taz. I am (blindly) quietly confident that with the injection of some youthful exuberance into the side, the embarrassment of last week, the roasting from MM, the reminder that no-one is safe from being dropped and MM 500th, we might just cause an upset. As good as the Aints can be, they can also play some ordinary footy, even with all their so called stars.

So with all this in mind and armed with my ten dollar wing and a prayer bet, I'll be sitting at my local watching the game on Fox, annoying the hell out of the other bar fly's with my incessant screams of encouragement and constant abuse toward the umpires...

Bring it on.

Gee's I hope we can pull off a win. If we lose by 25 or more we will probably be on the bottom.

If we lose then I just hope that that Milne character has a really bad day
- for some reason he annoys the hell out of me . Maybe cos it's like a flashback to bloody Kevin Bartlett running around kicking goals at will .

Our only chance is if the aints think we'll be an easy win & if we have someone stand up and do a Johnathon Brown for us .

The big question is who do we have who can rip a game apart -- ???????
None of our usual line up have managed it -- maybe C3 or Yakka , as they're the only ones yet to prove they can't do it
