If this mob if DICKHEADS win this game by 1 goal,BY christ there will be an uproar.
The F***ing umpire givin Hurd a free after the siren....what for Christ knows...gee sorry his kick was misdirected and he can have another one......and gets a goal.
Sorry BUT this game is a sham and if this mob of DICKS wins then I hope that the ump is protected from the fans as he is WRONG in his decision.
HURD should get deported for THUMPING a player who wants to go for the ball and NOT the playerHe should also be dropted for impersonating a football player

hmmmmm very lucky for essendon. Umpire called time off when hird kicked the ball with 1 second left in the quarter. As a result the kick was dissallowed and the ball had to be brought back. Very lucky and a match turning kick.

i dunno, it was a tough call with a second left but was probably technically there. Just stupid with 1 second left in the quarter to call time off. Hird played on, not our fault. And to make things worse, he gets the impossible goal, and now he'll fire up. Thats just the luck we are getting this season. We looked better that quarter but. Fricken always the last 5 mins of quarters that kills us. Trav cloke is a champ

What a scrappy and boring game so far. The only thing that has impressed me is watching T.Cloke dominate in his first game. Lets hope things improve in the second half.

clement has to be put onto hird fast, morrison is getting a bath. If clement is able to follow hird around the ground, he may be able to get onto another 50 metre bomb for goal, seems like the only way we can score. Bloody Tarrant is the best contested mark going around but the worse kick for goal.
