Well doesn't that say something , how long will MM's sentimentality with certain players last. Maybe they asked for too much ,they should take a second or third round draft pick and be done with it after all Simon Black was taken in the early 30's.

Which brings up another point are our draft picks duds or aren't we developing them right. I'm starting to lean towards the latter because how could so many of them over the last 3 yrs not come on you only have to look at Brisbane's youngsters to see something isn't right.
They should never have fired Terry Daniher and replaced him with bluey Mckenna (backman) as forward coach (another case of sentimentality).
Our Forward line has not gelled anywhere near as well since T.Daniher then he goes to St.Kilda and all of a sudden Gherig kicks a tonne and Reiwoldt 60 goals.
