OK ... well that narrows it down ... the culprit was someone other than Lockyer.

I think Holland had him in the first quarter

I think it was mentioned in the VO that Dutchie started the game on McLeod.

Or "didn't have him" which would be more to the point.

Thanks for that, Pedro.

Holland and Burns both spent time on him during the opening term, blind freddy could tell you that niether of those guys are quick enough to mark him, Johnno or Rhyce should have started in him. Common sense really, although it dosn'e seem to be to common down at CFC at the mommemt

Burns, alas, is finished. He is one hamstring injury away from the end. He's got no power in his legs anymore.

Woewodin looks gone too.

Bye bye Lonie, Williams, Cole

Hello Maxwell, Brayden, Egan

About Brayden, got the feeling this kid will lift for the ones, but may never impress enough in the 2s if you get my drift. Give him 5 games and see.

the trouble Cam is no one is stepping up to pressure most of these players. At the end of the year, how many do you get rid of and how do we replace them, with no one ready to step up. How many are even worth trading? At least Rowe is going to be good, and maxwell, hopefully Cam and Tex. But the ranks are getting mighty thin, and the other thing that worries me, is that our nucleus of good players ie: Bux, Burns, Wakes, Rocca, Clem., Woey etc are past or nearly past best. Just finished watchin tape of game, and through all the wincing ,oohs and ahhhhs very little to be optimistic of in the near future Im sorry to say. Backline good as usual. Rowey good. Shaw trying hard. Carracella good and will be a good pick up. But even the body language was bad, and I hate to pick on Taz, but I did see shades of Richo there at times (shit I hated sayin that!). I hope we improve next week, or its gunna get ugly.

Next week they might repay us for the 100+ point thrashing we gave them in 2002.

For mine, Lonie is a massive dissapointment. Has regressed if anything in terms of where his career is....Must be persisted with perhaps play him down at willy for a while. Williams played full forward yesterday for a quarter and a half and gosh knows why. Holland was below average

The first half was the worst half of football I have ever seen a collingwood side play. They can't get any worse this season, the only way is up....but unlikely and I think we may win 6-8 games for the whole season and finish about 12th-15th. Hopefully we avoid the dreaded spoon.

Positives: Wakelin and Clement were fantastic without these 2 guys we would have been smashed by 10+ goals. Presti was handy, Rowe was very good, sure he kicks some high bombs but this kid can play. Cam Cloke was a bit rusty but at least tried hard, and I don't like to say it but Shaw at least ran and tried hard, but still lacks class.

Negatives: MM should be dropped to Willi, Guy McKenna - does he do anything? he was a tough player but our side is getting softer. These so called coaching staff are probably on big bucks and what do they do?? Williams is a joke, Lonie has no confidence and should be dropped, O'Bree is a clown. I mean why get rid of Scotland, Betheras and McKee when you keep absolutely clowns like O'Bree, Williams and Swan.

Where is David King, Nick Maxwell, Jason Cloke, Dane Swan (why is he on the list anyway), the other 2 shaws and egan. Play youth, look at Burns he can't run anymore, love him as a player but he looks like age is cathcing up fast.

Rocca and Tarrant. Boys you need kicking lessons - I could kick some of those easy misses yesterday. How can a professional footballer miss them? they need more practice and a skilss coach. The whole team needs a skills coach. (well except the defence - they were very solid.

How good is Riccuito, Edwards and McLeod. Awesome players, and we let them run free all day long. That final goal was simply too good for us.

Final word: Taz you will never be M. Lloyd. Time to move up the ground.
Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~

Williams wont go out he is MM WCE love child.

I agree with you MargOZ at least they showed some desperation just a pitty the skills were shocking. The turn overs killed us specially all the fumbles in the back line which the crows scored easy goals from.

Bad Kicking, Bad Football. It comes back to the coaching staff. Their heads should be getting kicked as well.

Caracell 4.4
Rocca 1.4
Tarrant 1.3

Pathetic in the Dome.

Dumb football.
