Too much glitter and razamataz down at the Lexus centre has given many of these players big heads and they have forgotten that their job is to play football.

Midseason trips to the Gold Coast, Darwin, Hollywood actors and actresses etc etc. Maybe they should forget the ice baths and indoor running tracks because they played better football when they had the worst facilities back at Vic Park.

Versace suits! They don't deserve to wear second hand clothing bin suits on today's performance.

They think they are better than what they are and riding the waves based on two unsuccesful Grand Final appearances.

The first half was the worst football I have seen them play for at least 10 years. Mistakes and fumbles when not under pressure, turnovers and kicking directly to opposition. Extremely bad skills.

If we had played a Brisbane or Port today we would have got the biggest thumping of all time.

The match committee needs to start sending a few of these players across the other side of the Westgate bridge (Williamstown) and start giving the kids that want to play a chance.

Our depth is crap and therefore players like Obree and Williams know that they will get a game week in week out.

Walls and Hunt summed it up well on 3AW. Collingwood played with heart and determination in 2002-03 but now they are simply NO GOOD.

Like it has been said by other, if they continue to dish out the crap they played today and last week then they will be giving the memberships away next year just to get the supporters to come.

So this is what the "Manchester United" of the AFL is supposed to be?????

I've been saying this for 2 years now culprit.Ive said we won't win a flag while Presti and Wakes are in the side, for 3 years, I've said Williams should never play for us for 2 years.I fortunately didn't see or hear the game today,but I've just watched the winners on austar and what I saw was gut wrenching. The first goal the cows kicked was a dropped handball recieve from cole 20 metres from goal,then a lonie clanger of clangers when he kicked to the corridor 30 metres from the crows goal under pressure,some cow prick picked it up and another goal .Then waklin dropped a &^*%$^%$ing sitter in the square another goal.To top it off, I looked at the stats, and saw Taz kicked his usual bag 1.3 Rocca 1.4
I've been saying for 3 years now that Taz lets Collingwood down with his poor kicking , Particularly when his goal kicking ability is most needed, much to the disgust of quite a few posters on this site.
I'm not saying I told you so, but please Collingwood hierarchy, if you see this post, can you teach our team how to dispose of the ball???
Williams 3 kicks 2 hbs, presti 2x2, these players aren't worth their salt and should now be told to play with willi for the remainder of the season , and leave at the end of the year.
I won't be watching the replay of the game because what i've read on this site tells me that MUCH more of the same is all I'll see.
I suppose that with the scum coming up next week, a win will wipe off the last 2 weeks embarressment and I think we WILL do it, but a loss will just about signal CURTAINS.

Before you bag Wakelin, I think you should actually watch the game. He was one of the few players today that stopped the cows from beating us by more! You may have seen one clanger, but you missed about 4 brilliant marks by him on the backline!

By the way where is Jason cloke, I don't think he played for Willy yesterday and he is not mentioned on the injury list.

He ran out with the rest of the Williamstown boys on Saturday, but to say he played, well, that's a matter of opinion!

What happened to that player that used to run 100m to receive the ball?
What full forward in the comp averages less than 2 goals a game?
Tell me the last time he took a contested mark?
Why does he always lead into the bloody pockets rather than down the spine?
What sort of a return is 1.3 this week and 1.2 last week?
What happens every time the ball is down at ground level?

He is completely lazy, overpaid and overatted at the moment!

lol, we all know why he leads into the pockets rather than the spine, because for some stupid reason, the rest of players REFUSE to play down the centre and don't leave the forwards anywhere to go other than the pockets.

Spot on Proud Pies re: Wakes. I was here in the VO with my Cats supporter mate, and said to him that if it wasn't for Wakes and Clemo, we would have been 10 goals down at 3/4 time.

Wakes and Clement were both very much in our best.

Best for mine was: Caracella, Clement, Wakelin, Johnson, Shaw, Licuria

Cam Cloke also did some good work and we certainly suffered when he went down in the fianl term

Worst: Lonie, Williams, Brodie

I really like Brodie but he didn't do much today hopefully a meeting with his old mate Camporeale will fire him up, the others need to be dropped

McLoad was kickless for 1 1/2 quarters today. Yes, he wove some magic, but he is not the reason we lost.
Again look at the scoreboard. It clearly states how we lost.

Actually I think he had 7 touches in the first quarter. There is no doubt that McLeod was the match winner, he was clearly the class player on the ground, kicked 4 and set up a couple of others, his skill and pace shone out above everyone else.

You are correct, he had 7 touches in the first qtr. Then not one more touch until late in the 3rd.
No one who goes missing that long is a match winner.

Could not believe how much we were turning the ball over. Another thing, where was the support running past when we did make an attacking move through the centre?? I was watching the game at home in Adelaide and it was the most frustrating game to watch ive seen, and I was at the Crows v eagles match last week and I though that was that one took the cake!!

Was very impressed tho with Clement and Wakelin, Davis provided some spark and run, tarkyn played ok i thought on mcleod and rowe had a good dip.

As for the rest of us.... well i agree williams=GONE, Cam Cloke=learn how to mark and keep your feet re: Clement in last quarter.

Just hope we can beat blues next week...

Why: Rhyce Shaw running into the forward line, scores level with about 3mins left and kicks short over Tarrant's head. From 50 out, wouldn't a long ping at the goals for any score the thing to do? He was one of our best today, but that one crucial piece of play gave me the shits.

Why? Coz the kid is down on confidence. Why? Because he get unmercifully bagged week in, week out. Sure he is turning it over too much but at least he makes an attempt to run the lines. I rather him try that and make a mistake than stop, wait, and go for a safe chip kick.
And while we are on the short, chip, chip, chip stuff, stop being ridiculous by saying that is the game plan folks. It absolutely is NOT. The problem is the confidence is down and so they hang to the ball and go for the safe short kick. That is .not the game plan and is why MM is so upset with the boys.
