What is with the PLAY THE KIDS line it is only round 2 for f@*ks sake, im all for playing Maxwell ahead of Williams, but to put egan in ahead of Lonie and woey???? We wan t to win dont we and yes, its great that egan has been put up for early selection but ive seen a lot of posts say he wasnt the standout (compared to maxwell). We all want to win and until its impossible to make the finals you dont bring out the 'play the kids' line, unless those kids are in the best available 22!!!!!!
As for Rhyce shaw he was one of our best and yes he turned it over but at least he was getting the ball and kivking it long unlike the rest of the team. Not to mention he set up 3 of our 11 goals, he was the link. Give the guy a go he is trying his hardest to show that he deserves a spot and he wnats people to forget the 03 granny, which is now over a year a go.
So all you Rhyce Shaw baggers out there get over it!!! and give him a cahnce and if he fails by all means bag him but please just give him a chance.
Oh yeah and pies to smash the crows tomorrow!!!!!

yeah i understand what yr saying joel, but Rowe is playing!!!! so is cam and those to havnt played over 10 games so they are the kids, apparently angus was a stand out at essendon during the pre-season (not htat thats hard) but i havnt heard egan being a standout - hey im not saying dont give him a go - i would just prefer to have our best side - and so when he gets picked in the 22 he will be in the best 22 (if that makes any sense??)

for Localised Damaging Winds
For people in the Western, Central, West and South Gippsland and Alpine
districts.
Issued at 11:40 am EST on Sunday 3 April 2005
