If Shane O'Bree doesn't step up in Buckley's absence he's gone. Give him 2 weeks to present himself, otherwise kick him off to Williamstown and delist him at the end of the year.

Put guys like Burns and Woewodin in the guts to help cover Bucks. Proven midfield performers.

Bugger that, gotta start playing the kids. Egan must play if they are considering him for selection in the extended squad. Rowe has got to stay in for the rest of the season as has C. Cloke and Maxwell. Rusling, Iacobucci, Hall, Morrison, Shaws need to get some games as well. The coaching panel need to quickly determine what we are aiming for this season and if finals are unlikely the kids gotta play.

Finally, Julian Rowe is in the starting 18. He IS the rover we had to have - bench should be Maxwell, C2 & Fanning - 4th spot is a hard one to decide, Lonie or Woey ? Lokan - GONE !!! Williams - GONE !!!

Give 'em heaps Julian - you rock !!!

PS: With Clarke out for the Crows the rucking department starts to look pretty even I reckon.

Although he is getting on in footballing terms, why isn't Burnsy used more as a midfielder? He plays well 99% of the time, and had a great pre-season. Whe we were in the gun in the fial term, why wasn't he used there?

Excellent to see the match commitee pick 4 young players who no doubt have plenty to offer in the long term. They might not shine and get 20 possessions right away, but they will only benefit from opportunities like this.

Now i'm excited.

This is the team we should have played last week.

GO PIES!!!!!

As long as they all get a game. The final 22 hasnt been named yet. Willy play on Saturday, so we'll know pretty early how much courage the selection panel really have.

I agree that it is good to see some younger guys in the squad but it is ridiculous that O'Bree has been nemed in the centre. The fact he is named in the starting 18 means that he must play. I think woewodin has been named on the I/C from to give him a bit of a rev up, with no Bux he will definitely play. Hopefully Williams goes and I think that Lonie is in the gun aswell if he does play he is on his last chance.

I expect 2 or 3 changes

In- Rowe, C Cloke possibly maxwell or egan

Out- Buckley, Williams possibly Lonie

Lonie can hurt the crows.

Let's get bloody controversial.

In: Cloke, Egan, Rowe, Maxwell
Out: Buckley, Tarrant, O'Bree, Presti

Let Tarrant run around at Willi and realise that the world does not revolve around him. If I was Assistant Coach he would have played his last game at FF. Play him back flank at Willi for 2 or 3 games to reignite his hunger for the game.

Ok, hang on, let him play back flank for us for 2 or 3 games to get him used to getting the ball.

In: Cloke, Egan, Rowe, Maxwell
Out: Buckley, Williams, O'Bree, Presti
Get back on top.

Presti and O'Bree can't be dropped because they are named in the starting 18, but I agree they are both very lucky

Believe you can only name emergencies from the extended bench, which would mean that Walker and Rowe are in.

Happy with the inclusions and wouldn't mind seeing Willo, Woey dropped. Hope Maxy plays, even if it means ahead of Lonie. Probably means Egan is the other emmergency and Lones gets another chance. Wouldn't be unhappy if Egan ended up getting a gig though.

Would have been much happier if they dropped Woey, Willo and O'B myself. However, I guess with Bux out they've opted for a bit of insurance and are asking O'B to step up, believe it when I see it myself.

Woey won't be dropped when Bucks is out, Woey will be one of the guys who will be expected to step to try and cover his absence just like last year

Now come on kids, lets not get nuts.

Yes, based on Monday, Taz, Ant, Lones & Wowie should be dropped.

But we'd perhaps like SOME chance of winning wouldnt we?

Rowe & Cam in, Bux & Willo out seems the obvious go, but Geez its hard to lay the whole Easter fiasco on Willo. 18 of 22 were a disgrace to the jumper, and Willo's done as well as any pre-season. They aint stupid enough to drop Wowie with Bux out either.

And maybe Maxie instead of Cam? Don't need that much height against the Cows. Wouldnt be chucking kids in this week, coz if we dont win this week the seasons just about shot. Egan didnt show anywhere near enough in the Wizzo to suggest he could get us 20+ possies, whereas Maxie showed a bit of mongrel which is EXACTLY what we need.

But I'd like to see all those who played last Monday given a chance to redeem themselves. They are the joke of the league (who heard Piggy on league teams talking about the doggies? "They were great last week but they dont get any Collingwood this week" - Like we're not a test - I hope Mick has that going over the PA at training all week). Those who can't lift after this weeks media bath shouldnt be wearing Black & White. Anyone who doesnt stick five tackles & ten smothers this week needs to go.

And it aint about frickin party tricks this week! Run hard, kick straight, Hold your marks and go hard...REAL f%#@ng hard!!!!!!!

But jeez, Rhyce out??? God almighty! What does the kid have to do??!!??!! One of only 4 who can hold their heads up at training this week! And I LUV the idea of running him on Macleod, although I wouldnt start him there, as Macca showed bugger all on the weekend, put Rhyce on him if he fires, maybe start him on Goodwin? Very tasty to see Burton out, but we dont wanna play too tall - Play Tex at FF, move Taz to CHF or even wing, have him & Lones bangin it long to Tex & Pebbles. Surely we dont need Pebbles in the ruck, theyve got bugger all ruck, so let 'em double team Pebbles and bang it to Tex when the Ant is covered, with cheesy & Rowie at his feet.

PS: Cam, isnt that the comfiest sweater/windcheater in the whole world? I've nearly worn mine out! (& I live in Qld!)
