Rheece Shaw has been given the opportunity to play a tagging role. If he does well, great. If not, he will be dropped. Simple as that. Lets give him a fair go guys.

Article on brownlow Buckley... looks set for a good game today :)
All eyes on fit Bucks

AS COACH Mick Malthouse formally ended training yesterday, a group of Collingwood players goaded and cajoled each other in a brief test of goalkicking prowess before heading back to the Olympic Park rooms.

No one was surprised when Nathan Buckley grabbed a ball, took a couple of steps out from the 50m line and drilled it through at half the height of the goalposts.

What the regulation shot from the skipper did do this time was emphasise he's ready to lead by example against the Bulldogs across the road at the MCG today.

Buckley, who hasn't played since tearing a hamstring in the Magpies' first pre-season game, ran and kicked unhindered during the 60-minute workout and defender James Clement later echoed the Pies' joy.

"He's a certain starter. You've seen the way he has trained over the last couple weeks. I think he's in good form and good shape and is ready to go," Clement said after training.

But is Buckley's hamstring still a risk under match pressure and strain? "Absolutely not. Mick has a policy that unless you're 100 per cent fit to play, you don't play. And 'Bucks' has passed all the appropriate tests."
