If Johnno's playing I'd run Rhyce on him. If not I'd run him on Smith. Buggered if I know who I'd leave out though! Its a good lookin' side on paper.

The AFL site squad has Rowe not even an emergency, nor Jason Cloke, yet Willo is named at HFF? Agree with Willo, but King in and Rowe out?

It seems to me that apart from walker for fraser and fanning for richards MM has elected to start the year with his most senior line up on the paddock. this makes sense to me, its a new year, you haven't delisted these people, you start with your most experianced side. Then if people play badly they are dropped or if the youngsters play brilliantly and consistantly for willi senior guys are pushed out...

On a slightly different note... Didak is in our starting 22 so someone would probably have to be dropped when he comes back, assuming walker is dropped for fraser and fanning is dropped for richards when those two come back who would you drop for didak?

I know a lot of posters have thier favourite "serial dud" to hate, so each person would probably just drop whoever they disliked most, however, its a tricky question when you think about it... do you let go williams because didak can mark well overhed and play forwards or do you drop shaw or obree and put didak in the middle... or even lonie... i suppose it will depend on from come round 3 or whenever...

If not,why wouldn't he be there?
Why is R.Shaw named in the 22?

maxwell isnt in my 22 because there are more experianced backs ahead of him, r shaw is in the 22 for the same reason, i assume this is also MM's thinking...

if shaw plays badly then drop him after round one, but i do think you have to start the year with your most experianced players on the park and then promote and demote from there, otherwise why have them on your list at all?

I thought C. Cloke was only an emergency? Surely he'll have to play considering the lack of ruckmen - ie. only Fanning, Walker and Rocca, who is an underated ruckman but can only do it for about 5 minutes a quarter. Cloke might just be our best bet - a last minute case of the flu for Williams me thinks?
