Going by the match report on the AFL site, and by their ticket info, Friday nights game will be St.Kilda v Western Bulldogs at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.

Definately Saurday night for the Pies.

Thanks Dale.
Pity AFL.com, or the Collingwood site could not come up with that very basic information.

As an ex-NT rep (Aust Schoolboys in Hobart - 1976) and having lived up there for 21 years, I still follow what's going on in Darwin footy.

There are still plenty of Long's and Rioli's getting a kick, and another Motlop or two. Shame there isn't another Nathan Buckley though.

Does anyone know where I could find stats of the Richmond game?

Women know more than Men wrote:can Julian Rowe kick?
Yes, he can. His field kicking is pretty good, just that he struggles when the pressure is on, as he gets nervous and too eager to kick the ball.
Hey J26 where were you sitting? I was in C Row.
I was in the CS, near the middle, directly behind the goals.
The team did not give in and continued to fight. These fighting qualities are what took us to 2 Grand Finals.
That is what we lacked last year, and it now is back. That's what will help carry us to the four.

Great effort by the boys and we all should support the team for the win, not can them because we didn't smash the Tiges.

All teams at this time of the year start at the same point...0 wins/ 0 loses.

For me, comment of the night went to Dennis Cometti "Richardsons shot at goal are like fingerprints...no two are the same". It makes me laugh when even the commentators start hanging it on Richo...

People are asking what positives do we get out of this.

Well, I only saw a few, maybe 20 seconds, of TV news clips of the game. No direct telecast yada yada yada.

However, the little I saw included Joffa's smiling face and that did wonders for me. The CS was on on song, the team was finely tuned and we start in the winners circle.

The nightmare of that shellacking last year in WA is finally gone.

That's a positive.

Go Joffa.

Go Pies.

Just re Obree's game. I thought he was good, but not very good. At times he was just plain lazy and wouldn't run to the ball, and would not chase opponents. I saw this happen 2 or 3 times at least from where I was sitting. I was a little dissapointed in that. However, apart from that he is was okay.

Williams sinks super boot
19 February 2005 Herald Sun
http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/footy/ ... 42,00.html
IT WAS always going to be a case of Collingwood's experience versus Richmond's youth in last night's Wizard Cup match at Telstra Dome.

And the Magpies' ability to win tight matches under pressure finally told in the end by seven points -- but not before the plucky Tigers showed Melbourne's footy-starved fans they will trouble most sides this season.

In hot and humid conditions with the mercury not dropping below 28C for the game, more than 33,600 supporters turned out to see the Magpies' old hands -- Anthony Rocca, Scott Burns, Paul Licuria and Josh Fraser -- get Collingwood over the line.

I cant get over how williams dropped that mark, weak as piss!! He may be able to kick but come on, in a normal game he would've only been even, cost a goal and got one. If Williams stays in the 22 i for one feel disgraced!
