Is there a cut off point for signings/delisting in the VFL?

Not sure of the actual date, but Williamstown didn't finalise their final playing list until after their second practice match. That would have made it about a month before the season started.

I'd suggest delistings, if any, would take place as soon as the season ended.

And don't forget that Rupe was used in the reserves midway. Is there a separate rule for reserves and seniors?

There was a spot available after one player returned to Perth, and thus, the club was able to sign Rupe.

I think the cut off date would be the last week of July, because Tasmania finalised, atleast I think that is what they said this year.

A huge positive is the signing of Macri for Williamstowm - has been very impressive with the raiders the time that he has been there and they have a lot of depth because of his involvement with the younger players, unlucky at the end of last year when there core group of senior players left the club!
