Gotch to coach in 2005.

News is that Bradley Gotch will continue as senior coach of Williamstown for season 2005.

However, a rumour doing the rounds is that one of his off-siders will be an ex-Essendon (or soon to be) player who will be an assistant (playing) coach.

Has anyone else heard this rumour?

If it was true, I could see Wellman or Mercuri coaching, but only at Essendon.

My initial thoughts were that Josh Mahoney is going to be delisted at Port Power, but I can't see that happening.

Afterall, amongst his credentials is that he was the Essendon reserves captain before returning to Williamstown.

Who knows? Maybe Matty Lloyd is going to retire and join his brother at Pt. Gellibrand!
