Great unrewarded tackle Lokan laid on Johnson last week, but not enough to save him though...

He's on a downward spiral for a now which is a shame. Should be played up forward for a while (just forward) to rediscover himself.

Weird about the Presti inclusion. Must be for the Treadrea bluff(?) come game time.
Match in the gas tank...

Boom, boom.

Good to see Presti and Clokey in to stablise the defence. Rowe deserves the inclusion as it was hard on him to be dropped as hje hadn't done much wrong.

Lokans career is alomost over.

Cam, QAFL teams would be a better competition than the VFL reserves. Brisbane reserves with all their Lions players aren't the best team in the comp and they would most likely punish the Willy reserves.

Isn't it true that there is something funny about their tribunal though? I wasn't comparing them to the VFL reserves.

I honestly don't think lokan is finished although I could be wrong. mick's still a fan and I reckon he would keep him. he's only missed a couple of games in his 2 years at the club and may start coming into his own around the 50 game mark.

Considering that a lot of young players' careers are on the line it's disappointing not more are being tried at AFL level, what do we have to lose??? Esp Shack,Mullins, Swan and Crow. Not looking promising for Shack if they are not even trying him again, I think he might become something special. Still I suppose they can assess the players quite well at VFL level but it's not the same, some players play better in the AFL than VFL, thrive on the pressure.

From the cfc site

Magpie Availability Monday 16 August
.....
Simon Prestigiacomo shoulder season

Incredible recovery. Maybe next year we will see the CFC club doctors as Nobel winners for medicine.

Emergency: S. McKee, L. Shackleton, A. Williams
interessting to see which one will actually play. Williams probably finished. McGouh playing so Shakleton unlikely. Looks like McKee will replace Presti

Yeah, McGough played last week. I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say there.

Yeah, you wouldn't expect Prest to play, would you? I guess we will have to wait and see. I would think that McKee will play if Presti doesn't.
