Nope, me neither - Vintage Leon - up one week, down the next.
His opening miss in first minute under NO pressure was costly in the context of the game, as it was in fact a 2 goal turn around giving that scum the momentum they needed. We still would have lost the 1st quarter, but the scoreboard damage was immense, trying to play catch-up football in the wet.
And his last quarter miss, OOF from 20 metres to bring us back within a goal, stopped us when WE had all the momentum. Really, none of these shots at goal were difficult for a league footballer.
Anybody care to disagree...?

Leon has been missing a lot of goals recently but overall he has showed improvement. I thought he was pretty good against Bummers

Leon missing easy shots - maybe another way of shooting himself in the foot, in the process of developing more self-belief, which will come. He'll be a great attacking midfielder.

I thought the main factor in the 1st was Sheedy's clever game plan which took us totally by surprise. Well described by commentators (maybe Brereton and/or Garry Lyon). Congregated on one wing, and ran in a pack ahead of the ball so they outnumbered us about 2 to 1 (as they described it) in their forward line. MM didn't even mention this post game but I think was playing dumb, otherwise they would have kept trouncing us instead of us winning the rest of the game. He just said we played badly.
BTW noone seems to have mentioned the other woods goal that was called touched and replay showed noone got within a foot of it! Another shocking decision in an umpiring nightmare game.

Bok, I videotaped the game and poured over-and-over that shot at goal. Unfortunately that was Dermie exageratting again. It was Lonies shot at goal from boundary line with no daylight to aim at. 1st camera angle, the ball looked like it went straight through the middle untouched.
2nd camera angle, the ball CLEARLY went through for a a behind untouched. No collingwood players objected to the goal umpires decision. It was an optical illusion - unlike Brett Allens biased decisions against us.

OK that's a slight load off the junkpile of shocking decisions. Assuming it's the same goal, I thought I remembered the goal umpire signalling touched - if so that would explain the mix-up, he got his signal wrong.
