labrooy - how dare you not select the Pies this is a Collingwood site.

Pies by 14 goals.

I am going over there with my son for the game and I know my Pie Boys will turn on something special for me.

(Fingers crossed).

Cant see us getting up this week. Its OK to beat Footscray & Richmond with our depleated line up, but the Dockers over there is a different thing altogether. I think we'll go down by about 5 goals (I'd love to be wrong though!!).
I hold a cup of wisdom, but there is nothing within.

Dockers will be too fast and too skillfull.

Pies will drag the chain again in the last quarter.

Dockers by 55 points.

My hope is week come out injury free as we have no chance of beating Freo with a Williamstown line up unless of course they all come down with a huge case of food poisoning.

Will I watch the game? I may just go out for dinner and get back in time for the Freo theme song at the end. Arg.

Is there hope?, of course there is. Anything can happen, Freo boys can back the pies with a bookmaker to pay for an end of season trip as I reckon they could get 10-1.

Keep in mind that Freo haven't played well all year at home.

The difference in the last few weeks is that we don't just rely on our 2 forwards and have found other people to kick goals.

I think this may confuse Freo and I am Picking the pies for an upset.

We owe them one.

Pies by 13 points.
BRING IT ON.

After living here all my life, I have a fair idea of how good the pies can be at Subi:

Dockers by 80 points.

I'll still be there to give them support though.

What chance the Pies ???

A very good chance of getting one hell of a hiding!!

Too many injuries, a chronic shortage of fit tall deenders and no reliable route to goal.

But why do we need fit tall defenders against Haselby and Farmer???
Clement has handled Pavlich in the past has he not?
So who are the masses of tall forwards which Fremantle frighten their opposition with???

For mine the key region of the ground is (as usual) the midfield. Can we match their fit, speedy midfielders for four quarters? No.

Dockers by 29.

GO PIES!

Short people got nobody

Post by perthmagpie »

Is it my imagination or will this week's team be
possibly the shortest team to run out for the Pies in 20 years at least. Wouldn't almosteveryone be in our best team on a dry day?:
No Rocca
No Richards
No Tarrant (probably)
No Wakelin
No Presti
No Cam Cloke
No Davidson
No Jason Cloke (persistent corked thigh)
Maybe no Maxwell

That leaves just Fraser, McKee (who can't jump) and Walker. (oh yeah and Kinnear). I can't ever remember worse injuries to the same sorts of players.

It'll be a miracle we win against a side with the tallest player in history with the luxury of playing off the interchange.
